David was born November 12, 1966, in Queens, New York. HE was raised in Beverly Hills, by two lawyer parents. (His mom handled Roseanne's first divorce from the guy who isn't Tom Arnold)He got interested in acting in high school, and decided to pursue it as career. He graduated in 1988 from Northwestern University, with a B.S. in speech/theater.
Before making it big as Ross Gellar on Friends, David appeared in many shows, most notably, NYPD Blue and The Wonder Years. He had recurring roles on both those shows.
David also loves theater, he even co-founded Chicago's Lookingglass Theater Co. At the moment he is not dating anyone, but he was engaged to a lawyer a few years ago, and he has also been linked with costar Jennifer Aniston
David has starred in two movies, "The PAlbearer" and "Breast Man"
