Pre-Wedding Events: Renee married David on the rebound from her relationship with Tony after finding out that Tony was her brother. On the day of the wedding, Tony confessed to Daphne that he was still in love with Renee. Daphne said that Tony and Renee weren't really related, because Stefano wasn't Tony's father (he really was). Tony rushed to the church to stop the ceremony, but it was too late.
Reception: At the DiMera house, Tony tried to convince Renee that she didn't want to be with David and she rushed off on her honeymoon to avoid him.
Status: Divorced in 1983 because Renee was jealous of David's career ambitions and his budding relationship with Kayla
