The Razor Rush
Perhaps Lei's best attack for closing distance on an opponent. Four rapid punches followed by a high or low kick is very difficult to reverse. The punches can be delayed, which can surprise people. The Rush (f,N+1,2,1,2) also allows Lei to switch stances, by holding Up or Down after each punch. After the kick, Lei can hold up or down to switch into Crane. If your opponent blocks, it's better to just finish off the move with a mid kick (f,N+1,2,1,2,4) to push them away to a safe distance. If you switch stances, there is a slight delay, and if your opponent blocks, you are very vulnerable. Rave Sweep and Back Turned Attacks
The Rave Sweep (d/b+4) has long range and hits low, making it perfect for starting combos. One of my favorite combos is going into the Snake Stance immediately after the Rave Sweep (hold down), then performing the Snake Bite (3,3,3). You can implement the Lift Up Cannon (4~4,3,3) as well. The Low Back Spin (BT D+2) is good for a five-hit juggle. It also pisses off your opponent, meaning that he/she may be more likely to make mistakes. Play Dead/Lie Down strategies
In Play Dead mode (d+3+4) Lei can either pull off the Rave Spin (3,4) which hits low and high, or the Spring Kick (3+4), which hits high and can juggle. This two options can cause a serious guessing game for the opponent. In Sidewind position (d+1+2), Lei's best option is to pull off the sliding kick (4,3). This is similar to Law's sliding kick, although you do have to be in Sidewind position to do it, and most people will block low unless you do the move as soon as you hit the ground.
