Hey, I was wondering what Gregory charges for an event and what dates he has open between January 15th and April 20th. I book acoustic acts for the College of William and Mary and I think Gregory could be awesome out here. There is a problem of distance (since we're out here in Virginia) but certainly we can set up some kind of block. Anyway, get back to me as soon as possible. I'd really appreciate it.

Jim

Wow, sounds great, I'll see if Gregory likes this idea as much as I do. Thanks for the e-mail! -Lora

Hey- I was checking out your page here that was advertised on the Jewel list. I'm a huge Gregory fan as well as all the other SD musicians. I was wondering if you could send me some info on gregory's first CD. Until i saw this page i had no idea he had anything out besides The Romantic adventures of harry. I can't seem to find it anywhere. I do live in Minnesota. I would love to get this CD. Let me know if you could help me out. This is mt parents address so please reply at. pwmielech@stthomas.edu

Thanks, Pete This was before "Harry" he later remaid "Harry" but the first one does have an extra song called, Down At The Local, great song! Thanks for the e-mail. -Lora

What about a rockin' version of Norwegian Wood?

I'll suggest this to Gregory. Thanks for the comments and the e-mail. -Lora

Hey Lora, Thanks for all the info on Gregory Page. I was thinking of buying the album from CDNow, but if it's OK, could I get the CD from you? The thing is, which of the two "Romantic Adventures Of Harry" albums should I get? I thought there was only one version of RAOH.

So should I get the original or the remake? By the way, the only Gregory Page material I have heard, is that off Future FolkLore 3. I am coming to the US for 2 weeks on Friday, so if everything goes well, I could send the money and the stamps on Friday or Saturday. Thanks again for all the info, and thanks for the CD offer.
!Joel!

if it's this Friday maybe I could meet up with you at Java Joe's and then get the money and stuff then...but...ummm it depends to you want to hear the more intimate side of gregory or the record labels because the 2nd version of "harry" is much different like some parts have piano and such if you go to the website I gave you and go to real audio there are some clips from some songs from the second version of Harry. ~Lora

Wow. Lucky to be in LA for the next few months. Page and the guys are up here 6 times! Largo (The info line said Cafe Largo, but I couldn't find that name.) on Fairfax on the 23rd, the Mint every DAMN monday in May with grasshopper Carradine and Harry Dean Stanton (that should pull in a crowd!), and at the Troubadour on May 8th with John Wesley Harding (sp?) and ??. Anyhow I'll be at as many as I can. Gotta see these cheaper gigs before Gregory makes it big and has the sold out headliner gigs at the BIG venues!

Last trip to the Casbah was well worth the drive. I just wish they could play longer. Speaking of that, what's up with "playing all night" at the UCSD stage? You mean Gregory and the boys all night? That may be worth the trip next saturday (25th). Be nice to get some details on that. Got a good buddy that's a UCSD alumni and says he might be up for that. I didn't catch the time on that either. Hell, I'll spend the afternoon as well; hope I can find a hotel.. that's hell for sure on a Saturday in SD.

Nice web page; a lot more to it than the last one. Most important to keep it updated. Anything I can do to help, lemme know.

PS. I'm feeling a little sorry for the SD fans that have to drive so far, and happy I can guzzle more at the bar :)

Go ahead and post this on your mail board if you like, but if you can, leave out my address; my work frowns on their name appearing anywhere, even if it is on a Page page.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate all the compliments and pats on the back you gave me! And if you come to the Page Page regularly it's updated often! Once Again, THANKS! ~Lora
