PHEW!! I FINALLY FINISHED TRANSLATING IT!! =) HERE YA GUYS GO!! READ AWAY!! THIS ONE INTERVIEW WAS HYSTERICAL......ZAC'S SO HYPER!!!
**YOU GUYS ARE SO MUCH YOUNGER THAN OTHER BANDS! WHEN DID YOU GUYS ACTUALLY GET SERIOUS WITH YOUR MUSIC?
ZAC: ME!! ME!! Actually, I'm the one that started the band.....y'know.....getting us all organized and everything.
ISAAC: (laughs and playfully shoves Zac in the shoulder) No, actually, we started 5 years ago when I was 11, Taylor was 9, and Zac was 6. We used to sing acapellas in festivals and fairs around home. About one year after that, we got instruments and we started learning how to play them.....when actually we had no clue how to work them!!
TAYLOR: We took about 2-3 years learning how to play, and getting the hang of things.
ISAAC: Back then, we were know as "The Hanson Brothers." And I really regret the fact that we never signed up with a record company from the time I was 13.
**DO YOU GUYS HAVE ANY OTHER BROTHERS OR SISTERS? AND DO THEY LIKE MUSIC AS MUCH AS YOU DO?
ZAC: We have two sisters and one other brother who's three years old. They love music.....it's in their blood, but they don't want to join "Hanson"......who knows? Maybe they'll start their own band someday!
ISAAC: I'm not gonna force them to join us, because they want to do their own thing. But if they ever want to join us, they're welcome to.
TAYLOR: It's not that they can't sing.....they can! But they're more into drawing and acting. Our little bro, Machenzie, is even crazier than Zac.....I think that he'd make a good actor.
**WHAT KIND OF MUSIC ARE YOU GUYS INTO?
ISAAC: Pop stuff, like Spin Doctors, Aerosmith, No Doubt, The Cardigans, and old stuff from the 60's. We've gotten a lot of influence from music from the 50's and 60's.
ZAC: We've been brought up with different kinds of music, so therefore, we like all kinds of music.
TAYLOR: Lots of people say that our music makes them think of so many different kinds of music, because each and every one of our songs are different.
**JUST HOW POPULAR ARE YOU IN THE US?
ISAAC: When "MMMBop" was just released, it went straight to the TOP 20 during the first week. (actually #1 is more like it!) We're really proud of that.
TAYLOR: During that time, we had to do a lot of travelling back and forth between New York and LA to do our Music VDO's and to record our album. So we didn't really get to go back hom to Tulsa, Oklahoma.
ZAC: And when we go back to the US, we're gonna get to appear on really well-known TV programs, like The David Letterman Show, and lots of others. We can hardly wait, cuz it makes up feel like we're really well-known.
**SO YOU MUST HAVE A LOT OF FANS THEN!
ISAAC: We have a hotline that's open for fans to call in. It's forever ringing, and once you get off a call and hang up, it immediately starts ringing again.
TAYLOR: People are starting to be able to recognise us now......it's really weird, cuz here we are walking into a restaurant, and there's these people asking us for our autographs!
ZAC: Most of our fans are teens, around the same age as us. But there are some College people that go to our concert too!
**DO YOU GET TO MEET YOUR FRIENDS, OR ARE YOU TOO BUSY TO DO SO?
ZAC: Right now, we haven't really gotten the chance to meet up with them, because they have their own band. So they're just as busy, but if we get the chance, sure, we meet and hang out.
TAYLOR: We have about 5 real close friends that have just started working in a pizza shop in Tulsa, and that shop has MTV. So whenever our song comes up, they're gonna start dancing and singing along instead of taking orders! (Taylor dear.....we'd do the same thing, too if we were them! =)
**MOST OF YOUR SONGS ARE ABOUT LOVE AND GIRLS. YOU GUYS ARE ALL STILL VERY YOUNG......HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS KIND OF STUFF?!
ZAC: Whether we have girlfriends or not, we would probably still be writing songs about love. I mean, you can't help it! But, right now, we don't have any girlfriends!
ISAAC: It's just something that goes naturally.....pop songs and love just go together.
ZAC: Isaac's crazy about love. He always wants to love a girl....or something like that! (ain't that sweet? hehe)
TAYLOR: (laughs) Yeah! Ike's the hopeless romantic, whereas I am the professional here.......and Zac? Zac's just some crazy guy! (hahahaha!!!)
ISAAC: (rolling his eyes but smiling) I think what they're trying to say, is that we're just mature for our age, so we know stuff about love.
**SO OTHER THAN MUSIC, WHAT ELSE ARE YOU GUYS INTO?
ZAC: At home, we have this huge table where we have legos strewn all over. We're forever creating and building all sorts of things.
TAYLOR: We like drawing and we're always roller-blading.
ISAAC: But we're not that great at skateboarding.....we're always falling down! But we like getting our blades and playing street hockey in them.
ZAC: We also like playing soccer. Ike's is always the referee!
TAYLOR: As for music, it's more than just a hobby, we think of it as "work," but it's "work" that we love doing. I'm glad that I don't have to work in a Pizza shop like the rest of my friends.
**SPEAKING OF YOUR MUSIC, WHAT'S THAT LITTLE DEVICE THAT ZAC IS ALWAYS CARRYING?
ZAC: It's my mega-phone thingy!! I love playing around with it very much! It's really cool to play with! I use it in the best song in the world....which is Man in Milwaukee. It can make your voice sound all funny......kinda like a cop's voice going thru walkie-talkie's.......something like that! But whenever I sing through it, you'd probably have no idea what i'm saying, unless you know the lyrics!
AND THERE YOU GO HANSON FANS!! WASN'T ZAC-O JUST SO HYPER?!! HEHEHE....KRISTI AND I OUGHTTA GET TOGETHER WITH HIM SOMETIME, SO WE CAN ALL GET CRAZ-AY TOGETHER!! YOU TOO OF COURSE!! =)
