NASTY RUMOR #1..........HANSON ARE MOVING TO LA
FACT..........Although the band has travelled to LA five times and spent the second half of last year recording there, they are not moving to LA. The boys love their home in a wooded, hilly area of western Tulsa and they don't want to uproot the younger membersof the family. (Kristi's bawling her eyes out here......hehehe =)
NASTY RUMOR#2..........THE BOYS WANT TO GIVE UP BEING MUSICIANS TO BECOME FULL-TIME ACTORS
FACT..........The Hanson boys have made no secret of the fact that they would love to get into movies at some stage in the future, but they insist will always be their first love.
NASTY RUMOR#3..........THE SONG "WITH YOU IN YOUR DREAMS" IS ABOUT A BROKEN RELATIONSHIP THAT TAYLOR HAD.
FACT..........This is totally incorrect. The song is a memorial to the boy's late grandmother, Jane Nelson Lawyer, who encouraged them in their personal lives and recording careers.
NASTY RUMOR #4..........ISAAC HAS A STEADY GIRLFRIEND
FACT..........Fear not, chickies! Isaac has made it clear that none of his brothers have the time to put into a relationship. Music is their number one priority and it comes before everything else. (wahoo!! dedicated fellas here.....)
NASTY RUMOR#5..........HANSON'S SONGS WILL ALL HAVE TO BE REWRITTEN IN A DIFFERENT KEY BECAUSE TAYLOR'S VOICE IS BREAKING
FACT..........If you listen closely to Middle of Nowhere you can hear Taylor's voice changing as the album is made, especially on the track "Weird". Nothing is going to be rewritten, although some songs will sound different in concert because there are no technical enhancements.
NASTY RUMOR#6..........ISAAC HANSON DIED IN A CAR ACCIDENT
FACT..........Okay, now I have to say that this is going a bit too far.......I mean, death is not something funny that can just be made into a rumor......whoever started it is a major jerk, and oughtta know that Isaac is alive and well....!
NASTY RUMOR#7..........THE TWELTH PRESIDENT OF THE US IS NAMED ZACHARY TAYLOR
FACT..........TRUE!!! Betcha didn't know that!! hehehehe......Lynn found this out while sitting in history class when she saw an old graying man staring up at her from her book under the name of "Zachary Taylor". This sure did wake her up! (of course......he ain't as great looking as the real Zac and Taylor.....doesn't even come close.....=)
NASTY RUMOR#8.............TAYLOR HAD A GIRLFRIEND CALLED ASHLEY, BUT SHE CHEATED ON HIM, SO THEY BROKE UP
FACT..........Whaddya know......Tay DOES have a friend called Ashley......'cept it's a GUY! Hello? Ya see how they manage to twist all these things into vicious rumors?! =)
NASTY RUMOR #9..........TAYLOR IS LEFT-HANDED AND DYSLEXIC
FACT..........Taylor is RIGHT-handed and is NOT dyslexic........enough said there....
NASTY RUMOR #10..........THEY'RE IMMIGRANTS FROM SWEDEN
FACT..........arrrgghhh.....Hanson are NOT immigrants from Sweden......They are definitely 100% American!
NASTY RUMOR #11..........ISAAC'S DATING LEANN RIMES
FACT..........y'see? Those nasty rumor people had to get Leann Rimes involved in this too! =) The truth is that they don't even KNOW Leann Rimes......so don't start worrying and go driving back and forth past Hanson's Tulsa home, okay? hehehe =)
