The six kids stood in the Hanson's driveway in front of their car trying to figure out the seating arrangement. "Great, Mom and Dad took the van, how are we all gonna fit in here?" Zac spoke up, "Well, Ike, you can drive, and me, Ethan, and, uh, Casey could sit at the back." Casey smiled, "Yeah! I like that." She gave Zac a big grin and Zac scrunched up his face at her. Taylor and Janelle looked at each other, "I guess I'll hafta sit on your lap," Janelle mused. Taylor grinned, "Yeah." Ike rolled his eyes, "Yeah, anyway, we gotta make sure no cop sees us doing that or we'll end up getting a ticket," he stepped in and started the car, "C'mon, ya guys, let's go." Everyone started piling in as Taylor sat down and looked up at Janelle. She was holding the car door open and looking down at him as he grinned at her, "C'mon Jan, sit down." Janelle blushed and carefully sat down on his lap. She heard Zac, her brother and cousin giggling in the backseat. She blushed even harder. Taylor whispered into her ear, "Hey, c'mon it's just me, I won't bite." Janelle smiled at him and looked forward as Isaac started backing out of the driveway, "Everybody got their seatbelt buckled tight?" Taylor tried fiddling with the seatbelt and he gently buckled it around Jan and himself. Zac giggled from the backseat, "They sure do have their seatbelt buckled on tight." "Shut up Zac, "Taylor ordered.

They had reached the main street and were waiting at a stop light while Zac, Ethan, and Casey talked and giggled in the backseat. Isaac was fiddling with the window$B)(J Apparently, it was stuck and didn't want to open. Janelle was sitting on Taylor's lap as he kept whispering little words into her ear. "You smell good, "he said into her ear. Janelle smiled down at him, "You're tickling my ear." Taylor whispered into her ear again, "Oops, sorry." Janelle grinned at him and whispered back, "No prob." Just then they heard Isaac curse slightly under his breath. They turned to look at him as he said, "Quick, do something, a cop's approaching on a motorcycle." Janelle and Taylor looked frantically at each other. "Shit, what to do?" Taylor moaned. Janelle quickly pushed Taylor down, "Bend over, maybe he won't see you." Taylor lowered himself and hid his head under Janelle's arm as a heavy weight cop approached Isaac's window on his motorcycle. Isaac turned and gave the cop a weak smile and friendly wave. The officer smiled and waved back. Janelle followed suit and waved at him, when the cop started to look oddly at them. "Stop waving already!" Ethan hissed from the backseat. Taylor heard Ethan, Zac, and Casey giggle endlessly from the backseat and he hissed back, "Shut up you guys." Meanwhile, Isaac was just about close to having a heart attack, "Dammit, hurry up already, "he cursed the traffic light. Just then, the light turned green and Isaac sped forth. Janelle unbuckled her seatbelt and Taylor scooted back up to his original position. "Hope I didn't squish you down there," Janelle said with a small smile. Taylor grinned back at her, "No way."

Isaac began to near 'Safeway' (A local American Supermarket) and turned his car into the parking lot. He found a spot and the six kids tumbled out of the car. Zac immediately grabbed a cart and yelled, "Hey Ethan! Get on in! I'll push ya!" "Awwright!" Ethan cried. Casey followed her cousin and got in too. She smiled angelically Zac, "Thanks for offering Zaccy." Zac turned to his two older brothers and hissed, "Hey guys, wassup with her? She keeps smiling at me weird." Isaac, Janelle, and Taylor all laughed, and Taylor replied, "She's got the hots for ya little brother." "Majorly, "Janelle finished up. Zac rolled his eyes and continued pushing Ethan and Casey through the supermarket automatic doors. Just then, Taylor grabbed a cart and called to Janelle, "Hey Jan! Hop in! I'll give ya a ride!" Janelle grinned and hopped in, "My prince and my pumpkin coach, hey, I'm even better off than Cinderella." Taylor laughed and pushed her down the canned goods aisle. "Hey Ike, what's first on the list?" he asked as Isaac stopped Zac from ramming into a stack of canned beans. Isaac took out the list, "Let's see, Milk, Eggs, and bacon." Zac zoomed on over to the dairy aisle and started picking up a couple of gallons of milk. He lifted three gallons into the cart, "This enough?" he asked Isaac. "Yeah, now let's get some eggs," Ike replied. Janelle raised an eyebrow, "Whoa, that's a lot of milk." Taylor gave her a smile, "Dontcha remember? We've gotta big family." Janelle grinned, "Oh yeah, almost forgot that there're six kids in the Hanson family." Zac picked up two dozen eggs and set them down in the cart. Isaac rushed on over and pulled them out, "Whoa, hold on there, betta put 'em over here." He set the eggs down into Taylor's cart along with the bacon. Taylor grabbed the list from Isaac and said, "Here, why don't you take one half, and we'll take the other. That way it'll be faster." Isaac grinned, "I know when I'm not wanted," he ripped the list in half and gave Taylor the longer half, "That way you'll have more time alone with her." Taylor grinned and grabbed the list and ran back to Janelle. He handed the list over to her and started pushing, "What's first on our list Princess Jan?" Janelle surveyed the list and replied, "Let's see, vegetables." Taylor scrunched up his face, "Dang, how we do shop for vegetables." Janelle laughed, "Don't worry, I'll show you." Taylor grinned and pushed her over to the vegetable section.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the supermarket, Zac was driving poor Ike crazy. "Zac look out!" Zac came braking to a stop before he went bumping into an elderly woman. She gave him a gruff look and flounced away. "Sorry M'am!" Zac called from behind. Isaac approached his younger brother, "Here, I think I'd better push." He took the cart from Zac as they started down the canned goods section. "Hey Zac, grab some chicken soup will ya?" Zac ran and picked four cans of chicken soup off the shelf and came half hobbling half running back to Ike. He dumped the four cans into the cart when Isaac turned around and saw himself facing none other than Melanie. "Hi Ike!" Isaac widened his eyes and stared at her then at Zac, Ethan, and Casey looking at him expectantly. He turned back to Melanie and gave her a smile, "Hey Mel, whatcha doing here?" She grinned at him, "Getting some stuff for my mom." She peered over at the three kids waiting patiently by their cart," Babysitting?" Ike ran his fingers through his hair and replied, "Yeah, something like that. Tay and Janelle ditched me." She stifled a laugh and said, "Well, hey, want me to help? I only hafta pick up a thing or two." Isaac's eyes immediately lit up, "Yeah, sure! That'd be great!" Zac rolled his eyes and whispered to Ethan, "My brother is so pathetic. It's like taking a girl out on a date$B)(Jto go shopping with your younger brother and his friends." Ethan whispered back, "My bro's more pathetic than yours, he'll do anything to getta girl$B)(Jyou don't wanna hear his list." Casey looked sadly at them. She personally wished that she had a brother or sister. Older or younger she didn't care, just someone to keep her company at home. She saw her cousins and they always seemed to have so much fun. She saw the Hanson family with six kids$B)(Jnot to mention another one on the way. She wished that she had a brother or sister$B)(Jjust to hang out with, talk with, or even fight with every once in awhile. She sighed and sat back into the cart as Isaac and and Melanie pushed them along.

"Okay, my mom knows that we don't know anything about weighing vegetables, so she wrote it out in numbers. Let's see, 10 tomatoes," Taylor examined the list. Janelle reached over and tore a plastic bag off and started looking for fresh looking tomatoes. Taylor, on the other hand, was dumping the first 10 tomatoes he found. Janelle laughed, "Tay, we gotta get the fresh looking tomatoes, not the first 10 you pick up." Taylor looked at his bag of tomatoes and grinned, "Okay then, teach me." Janelle smiled back, "First, help me get outta this cart." He walked over and took her hand as she carefully climbed out of the cart. "Thanks," she said. She walked over to the tomato table, (now listen up readers, this could be useful$B)(Jhow to pick out tomatoes$B)(J Even though I don't know nothin' bout it. Hehe) and grabbed Taylor's hand. "Kay, pick up a tomato, "she ordered. Taylor obediently picked up a tomato. She smiled and took it from him, "Now, check it out, see that big bruise there? Uh-uh, you don't want that, you gotta get a perfect tomato." Taylor smiled and said to her, "I may not know how to tell a perfect tomato when I see it, but I sure do know how to recognize a perfect girl when I see her." He kissed Janelle gently on the lips as she slowly turned the same shade as the tomatoes. She tugged Taylor's shirt, "Not here in the middle of the supermarket." Taylor grinned and started looking for tomatoes again, "What 'bout this one?" Janelle took it from him and examined it, "Yup, that's great." She dumped it into the little plastic bag and turned back to Taylor who said, "Whaddaya know? We're tomato shopping." Janelle laughed, "Tomato shopping with you is the funnest thing I've ever done." Taylor rolled his eyes and grinned, "Yeah, I bet." They continued picking out the remaining tomatoes when they heard a voice from behind them, "Taylor Hanson is that you?" Taylor cringed when he heard the voice. Never the less, he slowly turned around, only to face none other than Mrs. Greene. He gave her a weak smile, "Uh, Hi Mrs. Greene, we were just picking out tomatoes." Janelle felt a giggle escape from her lips as Mrs. Greene squinted her eyes at Taylor and hissed, "Where's that little brother of yours?" Taylor gave a weak laugh, "Who? Oh, you mean Zac? He's, uh, over at the VDO arcade. I dunno." Just then Isaac and Melanie and crew, came strolling up behind them. "Hey Tay! Look who decided to join us!" Zac yelled while pointing at Melanie. Taylor turned around and said back to his brother, "Hey Zac, look who decided to join us." He pointed to Mrs. Greene. "Yikes" Zac squeaked. Mrs. Greene walked over to Zac and said to him, "I expect my azaleas to be replanted before this winter," she said to him threateningly. "Oh yeah definitely Mrs. Greene, I'll do that," Zac gave her a small smile. "Good, I'll see you next Thursday, you better be there," Mrs. Green said before turning around. Zac buried his head in his arms, "There goes my spring break$B)(J I'm gonna hafta spend it planting azaleas for Mrs. Greene."
