Created by Chad Michael Ward and Kasey Quevedo (AZTEC OF THE CITY), MiSFiTS: An Online Journal is an experiment in which YOU, the reader, get to follow a series from it's intial conception to it's (hopefully) eventual publication.
June 14th, 1997: Drafted the first eight pages of script for issue #1. Will translate the freehand over to the computer and do some touch-ups before e-mailing it to Kasey. Still waiting on more character designs.
June 19th, 1997: Character sketches are slowly drifting in from Kasey. The newest is The Bros. Grimm. Is it me or does the guy on the right look like alterna-singer Beck? Plus, another look at Jimmy.
July 1st, 1997: Been real busy lately, and haven't updated the page much. Lot's of new art this time around, including The Rev and Venicia (right) and:

July 14th, 1997:Kasey and I spent the majority of yesterday putting together ten proposals for him to take to the San Diego Comic Con this Thursday. The packets look pretty nice, if I do say so myself. Kasey will be finsihing up some art for the packets and will hand them out to the likes of VERTIGO, DARK HORSE, CALIBER, IMAGE and SIRIUS in the hopes of finding a potential publisher. In the meanwhile, I'll contiue scipting and plotting the remainder of the series. When Kasey retrns form the Con, he'll continue adding more art and in a few weeks, we'll mail out the new proposals as a follow-up.
June 13th, 1997: Today, Friday the 13th, marks day one of the MiSFiT Online Journal. Thus far, I've plotted the first issue out in my head and written up character designs for the series artist, Kasey Quevedo. At left is the first sketch of the 5 misfits, including (from left): Jimmy, Juliet, Spooky, The Rev. and Venicia. I think Kasey's done a spectacular job catching each character's personality, and am anxious to see what comes up next.
