Walking beside the cool stream of your love
Mid-afternoon sunlight peering down
Stepping barefoot on the sun-warmed rocks
The refreshing air slightly breezing around me
I find a good stone to perch upon
Dipping my feet into the clear water
Relaxation and peace flood into my body
I gain strength from this majestic water
I feel invigorated, and able to be secure in myself
With the stream near me, I feel safe and unconquerable
I feel as if my soul becomes one with this stream
Strange passions come over me
Feelings I don't understand
Feelings I have never before knew, or experienced
Feelings that push me and keep me going
When I feel down, I can drink from this stream and be revitalized
When I am joyful, I can go down to this stream and share my joy
When anger comes upon me, I can splash this water on my face and soothe my heated temper
I feel a new life and being since coming across this stream
I hope my path continues along this stream for a long time
I pray to the Almighty above for knowledge of how to treat this stream
To keep it free of pollution, and keep it pure
How not to abuse it, and treat it with respect
For I never want this stream to leave my side
I pray it is meant to follow my path throughout my mortal life and beyond
For this stream is the greatest source of precious water next to the great river of God's never ending water of life
This stream I will cherish and love...
