SWEET!
I got my bill from Charter today and they still said I owed $10 more than I needed to pay from those promo coupons they sent me back in like March. I put the final coupon in for my June bill. Now for the August bill it still isn't reflected. I decided to call them about it. I told the guy that I called the first time this happened and they said it takes a cycle to show up on the bill. Well it's now been two cycles and it still hasn't shown up. So they guy said he just took both of them off and reduced my bill by $20. My response was "well I only needed one...but okay!" and he said "Well might as well just take care of both of them now."

But I think I won't take my chances on this one and just pay them the correct amount with out the addtional $10. We'll see what happens on the next bill.

9 hours of sleep later...
Well I feel mostly better. My head stopped hurting but I'm still tired. I guess this would be the over sleeping effect. I felt fine whe I woke up at 3am.

Damn my 6 hours of sleep internal clock.

Ow
I decided to go swimming again today. Apparently I didn't get enough sunscreen on my legs because they are very red at the moment. Interestingly, I did cover my back enough. Well I know I got a lot of sunscreen back there I just didn't think I covered my entire back. So, was my time at the pool worth the fact that it hurts to sit comfortably? I think so. I got a lot of reading done for Sociology (granted, still behind by a whole chapter) and I enjoyed my attempts at swimming.

Although I'm not feeling too well at the moment. I think I over ate. And I'm tired. It's not even 9 and I think I'm going to turn in. For the better I suppose, I have a lot of things I want to take care of in the morning. Arguably I could have done them tonight but eh. I want to take out the recycling and also buy some aloe. Actually, the aloe I should have bought tonight but oh well. Off to bed I go, damn Macaroni and Cheese.

It's fucking with me and I don't like it.
I really should be more logical when planning on going to the drive-in. I went swimming today. Then I showered, got dress and went to the drive in. Movies over, come home, change into pajamas and go to sleep. Should have just skipped the getting dressed in normal clothes part. Oh well.

Anyway, saw Bad Boys 2 and Terminator 3. Bad Boys was basically a lot of shoot outs and car chases but damn! They had this one awesome car chase scene. T3 was pretty good. On the surface it's an unjustified sequel (with the destroying of the chips and all). But with the knowledge of Judgment Day is inevitable, T1 can still hold true. The whole time travel concept messes with a person's head. HOWEVER, if in T2 they destroyed all of Dyson (sp?)'s work/files/research and the CPU's of which his research was based off of, how the hell does SkyNet still get built? Matt reminded me that a robotic hand was left behind in T2. I got this reconfirmed for me when T2 aired on TV. But like I said, the research for SkyNet, according to Dyson, was based off of the chip, NOT the hand. But now that I'm thinking about it, I guess it does make sense that they were still able to build SkyNet eventually. This way, the first Terminator in the first movie can still exist in the 80's. Actually, the hell with still. It justifies it existing period.

I'm going to talk this out just to make sure it makes sense to me. If you see any flaws, please, let's discuss. Besides, I was drinking caffeine during the movies, I'm not tired at the moment.

In order for all this to work, this "history" must be taken from the view point of John Connor. You know, I started to write how it all makes sense, the time traveling, (I'm writing this after writing the first issue) except that it doesn't. Sarah Connor only prepares herself and her son for Judgment Day and after BECAUSE of the time traveling robots. Had future SkyNet not attempted to wipe out John Connor, the human resistance leader, he never would have been the human resistance leader. But John Connor never would have been the human resistance leader had SkyNet not attempted to wipe him out before hand. Hell, he wouldn't have even been born. See how it fucks with your head? Yeah, I know. I shouldn't be reading that much into a movie. But I'm a person who wants things to make sense. But the more I try to make sense of it, or as I get one thing to make sense, some many other things don't. It's fucking with me and I don't like it.

Issue 1: A machine, the Terminator, is sent to kill the human resistance leader John Connor before he is even born. How: From the second movie we learn that the basis on which the machine that controls the machine rebellion,SkyNet, is the CPU from the Terminator. This CPU is destroyed in the second movie. However, in the third movie, we learn that that act only delayed SkyNet taking over. SkyNet still manages to get built (some how) and gets activated. We also see the first terminator machines leading us to believe that SkyNet improves upon them. Therefore, possible for that Terminator to exist in a future before he gets sent to present time.

Issue 2: A human protector, Kyle, is sent by future John Connor to protect Sarah Connor and in the process, fathers John Connor
How: I'm still working on this one, okay?

Issue 3: Sarah Connor now has knowledge of what is to come and prepares appropriately.
How: Well she finds out from Kyle and sees for herself. Who wouldn't want to try to prevent that?

Issue 4: A second (evil) Terminator is sent to "present day" to kill a young John Connor.
How: Well SkyNet was not stopped in the first movie. Just it's attempt to kill John Connor. Therefore, it still has terminators to send. We learn from the third movie that evil terminator was sent back to that day because John Connor made out with Kate I-forgot-her-last-name and had the terminator not shown up, they would have gotten together and Kate would have gotten her father to stop SkyNet from ever going online.
Issue 4.1: How did SkyNet know to go back to that time to stop them from getting together? Had they gotten together, SkyNet never would have gone online in the first place
How: Well shit if I know. I'll just attribute it to a flaw in logic in the third movie. (See what I mean about more questions arising?)

Issue 5: A good Terminator is sent to "present day" to protect a young John Connor.
How: Well SkyNet was not stopped in the first movie. Just it's attempt to kill John Connor. Therefore, there were terminators available to reprogram and to send.
Issue 5.1: Sarah Connor attempts to kill Dyson to stop SkyNet from being created. Sarah knows this information from the good terminator. In the end, the research is destroyed and so are the CPUs.
How: From the third movie, we learn that there was another way for SkyNet to be built and therefore the terminators will exist.

Issue 6: Okay, now I'm starting to get tired. Not physically tired, just mentally trying to figure out the time travel paradoxes. I fucking hate paradoxes. They drive me crazy. Technically, if you back in time to the "past," you can't change what happens, because that could effect your going back in time altogether. That was nicely illustrated in the 2002 version of The Time Machine. That only pseudo holds for the Terminator series. The biggest head fucker is John Connor's father. You can't be sent back in time by the person you create in your journey to the past. It just drives me crazy. Most of this other stuff mostly makes sense, in my head. I could probably talk it out, but not write it out.

So now that I've entertained you with my ideas for three pages, care to discuss? Think it over. In the meantime I think I'll entertain the idea of sleep. I really need to stop fucking with my sleep schdule.

Well what do you know...I have a white car!
I just spent the past hour and half (at least) washing my car. Boy, was it filthy! And the somewhat sad news? It's not entirely clean right now. There are still some light dirt on it. My hands couldn't take any more sponge squeezing so I let it go. But it certainitly is quite an improvement.

So now I think I'm going to lather on some sunscreen and sit out by the pool for a bit. Get some of that boring ass Sociology reading done. I only have 3 chapters of that to read by Friday and 3 chapters of Psychology to read by August 4th with an additional 2 chapters that I missed from the last midterm before the final. *sigh* Why o why must my sociology professor be a book tester?

Note the time
And I'm not tired yet. Odd. so if I was to set my alarm, that would be for 8 hours from now...which would be about 11am.

And if I was to go to sleep now I'd probably *still* wake up around 7.

Little things
The last time I went home, I found a chineese jump rope in my room. I decided to do some string figures with it. I found that I could only remember one, cup and saucer. There used to be 2 I could do off the top of my head: that one and witch's broom. I tried for like half an hour to get witch's broom but I just couldn't get it. I knew I had a book on doing string figures (it was a phase, ok?) but I either donated it or packed it away in a box. Anyway, I didn't want to try to look. (tangent: which reminds me, I should look into a storage space rent place for all of those boxes)

Somehow I got reminded tonight of that little frustration. I did some research online. While I did find it, it wasn't the way I learned. I couldn't find it anywhere. I then found some homeless shoe strings in my closet and practiced on those. I finally managed to get my beloved witch's broom the way I remembered it. I also remembered owl's eyes.

It's the little things that make a person so happy.

Car things
Dropped my car off at the mechanic today to be fixed tomorrow. So here's a list of things I want to do once I get it back:
-go get gas
-go get the car washed. How does a car in a covered spot get so dirty?
-go to the Dollar Tree and get a bucket for the mop (possibly a new mop with it) and another glass container to burn my wickless candle in to get wax and make a wickful candle.
-go to Sears and buy a cheap vaccum. Still not sure where exactly I'm going to keep it, but it would be nice to have. Besides, the ones at Valencia are unreliable in the sense that you can't gurantee that you'll be able to check out a vaccum and they don't get everything off of the carpets (ie, my hair).
-go to the drive in and see T3. Hopefully it will still be playing Friday night because that's when I want to go.
-go to the bank and get some quarters. I did laundry this weekend which has nearly wipped me out.
-go to Staples and get some hanging folders and another filing box.
-go to a place that sells white boards with shelves. I want for the apartment. I suppose I should just bring the one from home, except that one has a metal frame. And if you could see the wall it was leaning against, you would see why I'm hesistating to bring it.

Hmmm, I think that's pretty much it on the to do list. It will be nice to not have to depend on other people for some rides.
