Pictures Of My Car

Ok, so I haven't had a chance go get the pictures I've taken scanned and on here yet. But I will tell you what I have done and what I plan on doing.

I have built kick panels for the floor housing a set of the new crossfire BMF series component sets. The six inch midbass and the one inch tweeter are aimed directly at the head of the person on the opposite side for outstanding imaging results.

For equalization of sound quality, I am using a Crossfire 20 band equalizer. This component I wanted up front so it is easily accessible to the two front occupants but I wanted to be stealth. So, after learning from the "Crash Test Dummies", It wouldn't be to dangerous If I were to remove My passenger side airbag. I took the SRS unit out and made a fiberglass molding of the cover so it excactly imitates the airbag as if it were still stock.I then mounted the EQ in the hole and motorized the door so not only is it stealth, It may add some coolness pionts to my score sheet.

Next, I needed to do something about subwoofers. I am using crossfires new BMF fifteens for a nice low frequency response. The woofers will be free air so I only needed to make a baffle board for my woofers.

Now, for frequency control and a perfect RTA score, I have crossfires new rack mount Crossover and a single mono 31 band EQ. The crossover and EQ will be in the trunk area and accessible through the trunk lid. The way the perfect RTA is going to work is this. Everybody knows that A perfect RTA normaly sounds like poop, so how can a car with their EQs set for RTA also sound perfect during SoundQ. Using a custom built RCA switcher, during my RTA judging, the left side will be totaly shut off. While this happens, the 3rd EQ, (31 band) will double up on the right side with my 20 band thus giving me a perfect RTA score!

Now, what have I done to my engine?

This last weekend I decided to fix up my engine a little and maybe get a few more horses up there. I put on a Thermal exauhst and tip. It is not one of those types that make my car sound like a weedwhaker but it gives it a smooth deep purring sound. When the judges are in my car with the engine running the last thing I need is for them to think the gardeners are outside doing the lawn.
Now that I have good flow going out of my engine I need it going in. I put on a tenzo cool air intake tube and complimented it with a weapon-R air filter.
I havent had it tested but the smog shop next to my shop just got their dynomometer so within the week I will update what my HP is now.
