This section deals with the Jellicle Ball in Oregon. We started small, but
hope to have a bigger group this year. October 31st, 1997, a tiny group of
only four CATS stormed the malls in Central Oregon (consisting of Bom, Demeter,
an abstract cat, and a sort of Mistoffolese's sister). We were a hit. Tons
of people asked us if we were from CATS, and even more asked where we bought
our costumes! Ha! We each made or put them together ourselves. It was such
fun that we have a longer guestlist for this year! Also, a few people are
taking on the challenge of making their own authentic costumes from the show.
It will be a surprise what turns up round Halloween time!
