Spells (7/7/7/7/6/6/6/6/6): As a Chosen of Mystra, Elminster knows and can cast
virtually any spell ( he is exempt from the rule that mages can only know 18
spells a level if they have an 18 intelligence). He generally disdains
conjuration/summoning spells, but aside from that personal preference has a
knack for carrying precisely the magic he needs to deal w/ whatever situation
he may encounter. A typical assortment of spell might be: 1st level--burning
hands, charm person, color spray, hypnotism, identify, magic missile, sheild;
2nd level-- forget, hypnotic pattern, levitate, magic mouth, mirror
image, ray of enfeeblement, web; 3rd level-- blink, fly, hold undead,
protection from normal missiles, secret page, slow, suggestion; 4th level--
charm monster, confusion, massmorph, minor golbe of invulnerability,
polymorph self, Rary's mnenomic enhancer, stoneskin; 5th level--
avoidance, Bigby's interposing hand, dismissal, hold monster, passwall,
teleport; 6th level-- disintegrate, legend lore, mass suggestion, Tenser's
transformation; 7th level-- force cage, limited wish, power word stun,
prismatic spray, spell turning, statue; 8th level-- Bigby's Clenched
fist, maze, mind blank, prismatic wall, Serten's spell immunity, symbol;
9th level-- foresight, imprisonment, meteor swarm, shapechange.
Weapon Proficiencies: dagger, dart, quarterstaff. (Although he has used many weapins
in his life, his skills with most of them have deteriorated through lack of
practice.)
Nonweapon Proficiencies: In his hundreds of years of life and possesing a
photographic memory, Elminster can be considered to have all of them.
Equipment: In his tower in shadowdale, Elminster has such wealth that he can buy
anything.
Magic Items Carried: necklace of missiles, ring of protection +3, and a ring of regeneration.
He never goes anywhere w/ out his personal Elminster's eversmoking pipe.
Psionics: All attack and defence modes

Combat tactics: As a normal mage, magic items first, then spells, then his
psionics if all else fails.
Allies: Lhaeo, The Harpers, The other chosen of Mystra (the Symbul especially),
and good people everywhere.
Enemies: Red Wizards of Thay, The Zhentarim, and the Shadowmasters. Also, anyone
that would subjugate others through the use of magic.
