Miscellaneous CDs with Maynard Ferguson

BING CROSBY, BING SINGS WHILST BREGMAN SWINGS -- Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs UDCD 670

This CD is one of my absolute favorites. The song selection is sensational, with such classics as Mountain Greenery, Cheeck to Cheek, 'Deed I Do, Heat Wave, The Blue Room, Have You Met Miss Jones?, I've Got Five Dollars, Nice Work When You Can Get It, Jeepers Creepers, etc. Bing was absolutely at the prime of his career, and the arrangements by Buddy Bregman were killers! And Maynard can be heard at the top of it all, blowing the high notes on a number of passages. Even my 20-year-old SON thinks this is a "hip" record! I'll say no more! This CD was recorded from the original master tapes. Mobile Fidelity was THE BEST at re-mastering these old 1950s-era tracks, and except for the fact that it was recorded in MONO, you won't believe the sound quality. Recently, MFSL went out of business, so there will be no more of these!
COPY #1. This copy was MINT, FACTORY SEALED, but I could hear a little piece of platic rattling around inside. I opened it to inspect it, and the inner case was cracked. So, I put the whole thing in a brand new case. The case is new, the disc is flawless, never played. Yours for $20.00.
COPY #2. This copy is USED, but almost like new! NMINT++! $15.00.
