De Castro Sisters CDs with Maynard Ferguson

Back on 2/22/57, Maynard took part in a recording session at Radio Recorders, Hollywood, with the pop group The de Castro Sisters. The result was two singles, Flowers on the Hillside and I Know Plenty, which originally were released as a 7" 45. In 1999, the German Bear Family label re-issued this retrospective CD which also includes these two tracks. A rare glimpse of MF in a pop setting. This is a superbly mastered CD, with a superb discography included in the multi-page front booklet. A must for serious MF collectors. These generally sell on Internet websites for $20.00 to $25.00 each, used, plus postage. When I find one for less, I try to snag it and list it here.
