As I'm sure you know, MF played with the Buddy Bregman Orchestra, backing Ella on this now-classic 1956 recording. It originally was a double LP. Here it is as double-CD. This is perhaps one of the greatest albums by Ella, much less ANY jazz artist. It's an absolute classic. This double CD lists in excess of $30.00.

Here's the German pressing of Volume One of the Cole Porter Songbook. This is the 1984 pressing, long out of print, with completely different cover graphics than today's version. And these German versions are quite rare, as well.

Here's 1 1996 pressing of songs from the Verve Ella Fitzgerald catalog. This is a 2007 pressing. It has MF with Buddy Bregman backing Ella on From This Moment On, I Concentrate on You, and Just One of Those Things. This is a nice, solid, NMINT++ copy -- like new. It's $7.00.

Here's the 1993 pressing the greatest tunes from the various Ella Fitzgerald Great American "Song Book" albums. It's long out of print. It contains the track Love for Sale (by Cole Porter) with MF in the Bregman Orchestra backing her on this outstanding rendition.

ELLA FITZGERALD, KEN BURNS JAZZ-- Verve 314 549 087-2

Here's a great Ella Fitzgerald CD that was pressed to accompany the PBS TV show Ken Burns Jazz. It includes Ella with the Buddy Bregman Orchestra on Night and Day. This track, of course, is from the Cole Porter Song Book LP, and was recorded 3/27/56. Maynard, of course, is in the trumpet section. And ... this is a really great CD, regardless of the fact that Maynard appears on it. It's a rather complete retrospective of Ella's tunes through the years, and includes some of her biggest hits.
COPY #1. Here's a lightly used, but pristine copy of this great recording. The case, liners, and disc are like new -- NMINT+. Yours for $10.00.
COPY #2. This one is FACTORY SEALED, but there's a small crack in the front jewel case cover. You can have it as-is, still sealed, or I can remove it from the shrink wrap and put a new front cover on the case. Let me know which you'd like. $10.00.

ELLA FITZGERALD, THE SILVER COLLECTION (GERMAN RELEASE) -- Verve 823 445-2

Here's a rare German pressing of an Ella Fitzgerald compilation CD. It has songs from her various song book collections, and included is MF with Buddy Bregman's Orchestra on Lady is a Tramp from the Rodgers and Hart Song Book. Besides this track, there are many 18 other great tracks from this collection, including such memorable tunes as Nice Work if You Can Get It, All the Things You Are, It's Only a Paper Moon, Puttin' on the Ritz, etc. Fabulous stuff!
