Grading for Vinyl 12" LPs, 10" LPs, 12" Singles, 45s, 78s

FACTORY SEALED -- New and unopened. No visible flaws under the shrink wrap.
MINT -- Cover is like new, vinyl appears never played.
NMINT -- Near mint. Cover excellent. Vinyl close to new. Only VERY minor flaws.
EX -- Very nice cover with small flaws, no significant problems with vinyl.
VG -- An average LP. Expect some cover problems, scuffing or light scratches on vinyl.
GOOD -- Definite flaws. Cover not great. Significant scratches on vinyl, noisy playback.
POOR -- Cover in bad shape, vinyl very noisy, with possible skips, pops. A space filler.

Grading for CDs

FACTORY SEALED -- New and unopened. No visible flaws under the shrink wrap.
MINT -- Jewel case and inserts are like new, disc appears never played.
NMINT -- Near mint. Jewel case and inserts excellent. Disc close to new. Only VERY minor flaws.
EX -- Jewel case may have light scratches, inserts may have small flaws, no significant problems with disc.
VG -- A well-used CD. Expect some jewel case and insert problems, scuffing or light scratches on disc. Will play without skipping.
