Red Grammer CDs with Maynard Ferguson

Here's Maynard on one of his last recordings, released in 2005. Red Grammer is a children's music writer and performer, and he apparently lives in Ojai, California. Ojai is where Maynard lived. So Red must have asked Maynard to lay down a track on his CD, and Maynard gladly complied. He plays on just the title track, Be Bop Your Best. This has got to be one of the most interesting things MF ever did. It's not great jazz, obviously, but this is a Grammy-nominated children's CD! Maynard solos quite a bit on the track, and it's really interesting to hear him in this setting. Very hard to find!
COPY #1. This copy was MINT, FACTORY SEALED, but the case was badly cracked. So I put it in a brand new case. It's MINT in every way. $15.00.
