This is a CD version of the LP that was recorded live at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland on July 24 (and the early morning hours of July 25), 1977, and was released that same year. It's a double CD, and has MF on the tracks Montreux Summit, Blues March (solos), and Andromeda (solos). It's really fantastic, fusion-influenced jazz, and Maynard comes through loud and clear!!! This CD was released in the U.S in late 2012. A must for every serious MF collector.

This CD was never pressed in the U.S until 2012. Back when this version was made, it was the only CD version available, and it was pressed in Holland and released in France. An extremely rare CD, much sought-after by U.S. collectors.
