Tony Perkins LPs with Maynard Ferguson

TONY PERKINS, FROM MY HEART ... WITH URBIE GREEN'S ORCHESTRA -- RCA Victor LPM-1679

On 3/27/58, Maynard entered the studio in New York City with the Urbie Green Orchestra to record this interesting LP with pop singer Tony Perkins. Maynard played on four tracks: The Kentuckian Song, Speak Low, Boy on a Dolphin, and Saddle the Wind. Only recently has this information come to light, so this LP is in very few MF collections. By the way, you may know Tony Perkins better as Anthony Perkins, the star of the Alfred Hitchcock movie Psycho.
COPY #1. The cover on this copy has had a 3" seam crack at bottom center carefully repaired. There's also a bit of surface wear visible on the cover, front and back. Still, it's a pretty nice cover, and I'd rate it as EX. The vinyl, however, is a clean and nice NMINT-. This one is yours for $13.00.
