Well, You found me. Let me start off by saying that this is my
first ever attempt at a web page, so please bear with me if you run into construction zones
or other things that don't seem to make any sense.
First off, I am 28 years old, recently married, and finishing up school in Sacramento CA studying environmental science and criminal justice. I have lived in various places since graduating high school including Utah, Hawaii, and most recently Monterey CA where I met my wife and was introduced to hog hunting.
My loves in life are my wife Christy, hunting anything, fishing, my
pooches marley and Ruger, and waterfowl. I would like to think that I know a lot about ducks and
geese of the Pacific Flyway, and hope to work in that field someday. I have been hunting
since I was 8, starting with a .410 for doves. I have been deer hunting since I was 12, but
with little success until recently. For a year when I was 21 I lived in Utah, and while there
I picked up bowhunting. Best decision I ever made. My first ever bowhunting trip I came
home with my first deer, a forkhorn mulie. Since that time I have averaged over a deer a
year, some with a rifle, some with a bow. I have only taken one really nice buck by scoring
standards, but all are special to me for one reason or another.
However, ducks
are where my experience is. I love to duck hunt, what can I say. I am sick. I am lucky to have been raised in Sacramento where so much great hunting is so close. I have had several seasons where I could hunt as
many as six (sometimes even seven) days a week.
I hope you find some sort of
entertainment in my web page. Sorry that I have no royal bulls or 30" mulie bucks to show
off, but if you take the time to read, you will see that each of these hunts I have detailed
here were special to me.
