Mister Happy Does Comics

Like most boys, when I was very young (some time in the 1970's) I was fascinated by Super Heroes (they were always capitalized in my head). I'd sit for hours at my grandmother's in my Superman or Spiderman underoos and play Super Hero. A boy's greatest toy is his imagination. I can't recall how many Super Hero forts I built, how many times I helped the Legion of Super Heroes (even though I couldn't pronounce "Legion") defeat the Sun-Eater. But I remember being a Super Hero really rocked!

That's how it all started: a little boy, some Underoos, a stack of LSH and Justice League comics and one huge imagination. Later, when I was ten or eleven, I discovered Marvel Comics (I thought Spidey was in the JLA or All-Star Squadron) and the X-Men not long after Chris Claremont bean his amazing turn at the writing helm of that once fantastic book.

Through the years, comics have always been near to me, and a joy to read. Sometimes DC sucked for a couple years, sometimes it was Marvel, but I read 'em all, and still do. This page is for all the little boys and girls sitting around in their Underoos pretending to be a Super Hero. I call Karate Kid.
