Happy Birthday Dad!!
When I think of my years growing up, the most significant memory I have (don't worry, I'll keep it clean) is of you and mom always being there with me and supporting my endeavors. Whether I was at a soccer tournament, a hockey game, or beating myself up at karate, you always came to watch and cheer me on.
Even to this day dad, when Michelle and I need you and mom you are both there in a heartbeat. I appreciate all of the things you did and do for me dad even more now since I have my own kids. Only now do I realize all of the efforts of bringing up children, caring for them, loving them, protecting them, giving to them what they need and want. It comes as a surprise to people when I tell them that I was not an angel in my younger years. They all think I was docile and calm with the good sense to stay out of trouble. You and I both know that was not exactly my character. You have given my strong values and morales to carry into adulthood and I thank you very much for that dad. The lessons you taught me and the experiences we shared toghether will stay with me forever. I only hope I can do as good a job as a dad for Sarah and Christian as I feel you have done for me.
Again dad, thanks and I wish you a fantastic 65th birthday.
