Featured above is a circa 1980 view of the passenger train. It operated on approximatly one mile of track that formed a loop into the desert. The train
was pulled by either the 0-6-4, as seen above, or the fake steam (gas-mechanical) engine.

You boarded the train under the depots canopy, next to the offices, restroom, and fudge shop. Once on
board you pass over a crossing, and turn toward the mountains. In between the train and the depot is a go-kart track, and cactus fields. The railroad continues into the desert, and loops
back to the train station. There are two tracks at the train station. The one nearest you is for boarding operating eqiupment, and the one farther away is used for storage. The storage track is simply a siding
inside the depot where the steam engine was kept.
