This Is In Loving Memory Of Mary Lewis
Should you go first and I remain To walk the road alone,
I'll live in memory's garden, dear With happy days we've known.
In Spring I'll wait for roses red, When fades the lilac blue,
In early Fall, when brown leaves call I'll catch a glimpse of you.
Should you go first and I remain For battles to be fought,
Each thing you've touched along the way Will be a hallowed spot.
I'll hear your voice, I'll see your smile, Though blindly I may grope,
The memory of your helping hand Will buoy me with hope.
Should you go first and I remain To finish with the scroll,
No lengthening shadows shall creep in To make this life seem droll.
We've known so much of happiness, We've had our cup of joy,
And memory is one gift of God That death cannot destroy.
Should you go first and I remain, One thing I'd have you do:
Walk slowly down that long, lone path, For soon I'll follow you.
I'll want to know each step you take That I may walk the same,
For some day down that lonely road You'll hear me call your name.

I have dedicated this page to Mary Irene Lewis, a dear friend of mine, and many others, who's life meant alot to everyone who had the priviledge to meet her...
There is no nice way to say how this beautiful, and lovely girl's life was ended. She was killed June 20th, 1995 by a gang member... who she was driving home... he was upset because she asked him for gas money, he left her on a street for dead, and stole her car. He eluded the police for a while, but was arrested, and tried, and is now serving a life sentence, which I hope he shall never return... 23 hours of the day he is in his little cell, with no priviledges, one hour of the day he is allowed out, but still, not allowed anything to do, his cell is not equipped with air conditioning or heating, so during the summer he shall bake in the heat, and freeze in the cold... which he deserves for taking her away from us...and there he shall stay...
Mary was a joy for everyone who met her, she was happy to take on a new friend regardless of where they came from. She filled all of our hearts, with her beautiful smile, and the sheer radiance of herself. I cannot say she has left me, because to me, she is still here, maybe she is still here, with you, with me, with everyone...she shall stay in the hearts of her friends, and her family, who will not, and cannot forget, what a special person she was, and shall always be... for she is The Queen...La...La...La.... and in her words, "Smile now, and cry later"
Forever will I walk with you, I'll never be alone,
You will always be here, in hour hearts, in our souls
Helping us find our ways.... no matter how far we go
I love you Mary

ONE MORE TIME
I'd love to touch the sky tonight
I'd love to touch the sky
So take me in your arms
And lift me like a child
And hold me up so high
and never let me go
Take me take me in your arms tonight
Hold me hold me up so high
and never let me down
hold me hold me up so high
to touch the sky
just one more time!
Take me in your arms tonight!
take me in your arms
Just one more time!
just one more time!
