The GENERAL CONTEXT of such use is:
The term refers to those dimensions of reality that exist beyond the corporeality of the human brain/mind local (s)elf (with a small s). Actually, the (s)elf portion of the local mind does include that incorporeality of the local mind as well as the corporeality of the brain. If we were to, however, say "beyond the (S)elf", meaning beyond the Self/Soul portion of local mind, then we would be referring only to those incorporeal dimensions of reality as do exist beyond the individual mind itself, including the Collective Consciousness, Universal Consciousness and Infinite Consciousness.
