The term refers to that which one does perceive upon either of the following conditions: the individual has achieved maturity of mind, in which case one is aware (or can be aware) of the Self/Soul as well as any dimension of consciousness beyond the Self/Soul (although IF any potentially "visitable" ground-state itself has a mature state of conscious awareness, such a "visitation" may only be as allowed by that ground-state); if the individual has NOT achieved maturity of mind, then the conscious awareness of that individual will be limited to the self and that "mechanical" conscious awareness of the brain/mind (s)elf-portion of the local mind only.
