However, in the context of the present situation, in which most citizens do not possess an activated maturity of mind, contentment may refer to another of Satan's instruments of maya, deluding an individual that all is "well" with the world and one's life because they may have achieved a "contentment" based on the division of the world into the "haves" and the "have-nots", in which such "contentment" is the result of "vested interests" and other machinations of people and society, in contribution to Satan's Veil of Separation.
