The term refers to the "maya" (as the ancient Hindu-Buddhist texts call it) of everyday life, and the "pseudo-realities" which most of humanity experience daily and which we think is reality but which is NOT reality at all, but is merely that Veil of Separation/Unknowing, as created by ourselves with Satan's instigation, which blocks our access to our mature mind and the experiencing and KNOWING of true reality.
