The term refers to the various social, religious, corporate, governmental and otherwise "programs", methods, procedures, policies, etc., that people become indocrinated and "programmed" (see the listings for "program...(et al)") to do, in response to such "triggers" of others or society which cause the activation of such ritualistic activities. Rituals are another means of Satan's influence upon society, but they are also a means by which mankind seeks to improve their lives. However, in this case, ritual activity is a seeking-outside-of-oneself (rather than looking-within for answers) and it leads to others and society telling one "what to do" (see the listing for "what to do"), another of Satan's influences.
