The GENERAL CONTEXT of such use is:
The term refers to: 1. Creationism, the theory that mankind is only about 6,000 years old, having been "created" by God about 4,000 B.C.; 2. Darwinism, or Darwinian Evolution (and its derivatives), the theory that mankind is a descendant of the Great Apes, having "evolved" therefrom about 4 million years ago; and 3. Human Evolution, the theory that mankind is as "ageless" as the Universe (actually, the Cosmos; see the distinctions between the two terms, in the listings for "Cosmos" and "the universe"), having existed in various forms of bi-pedality throughout our present universe as well as in other universes (dimensions), such dimensions as are parallel to this our current universe AND as were prior thereto. See Father Jerome's Science Lectures (elsewhere in these webpages), particularly the Lecture entitled, "A Comparative Introduction to Human Evolution".
