The GENERAL CONTEXT of such use is:
politics: (a) an analyses of events, matters, concerns and situations guided by the will to know and explain, at the cost of a constant effort to surmount the passions, often contradictory, that the academic institution necessarily instills in those who are its product and who live off it, if not for it;
(b) analyses or actions taken by an individual or party so vested with legitimate authority to perform such examinations, deliberations and consequent actions, such analyses and actions guided by the inherently human will to know and explain, however at the cost of a constant effort to surmount the individual passions, often contradictory, that the individual's academic institution necessarily instills in those who are its product and who live off it, if not for it, such analyses being read in what might be called the "logic of the trial", perceived through initial prejudice, for or against (see adversarial proceedings), as mere political opinion or theses (see opinion) inspired by an originary bias for denunciation or legitimation.
