LETTER FROM ME TO YTV:
July 16, 1999
Dear Sir or Madam:
For many years I enjoyed a YTV program called "Samurai Pizza Cats". I was quite disappointed when your station had cancelled the show. I truly enjoyed this show and thought it was great fun for pre-teens and teens, and even now its still enjoyable for myself as an adult. It was good quality programming with little for parents to worry about in the violence department because of the fictitious weaponry. The show was full of colorful and enjoyable characters, good humor, and quirky plot lines.
I recently was talking with some friends who use to come over to my house at lunch and watch the "Samurai Pizza Cats" episodes that Id taped the day before. We remembered how much we enjoyed the show and how we thought it was a shame it was no longer on the air. In the last few months, my younger brothers friends have gotten interested in the show when I dug out a few of my "Samurai Pizza Cats" episodes that I had taped years ago. They agree with me about how funny the show and characters are and said that theyd like to see the show back on television.
I would like to request that you take into consideration placing "Samurai Pizza Cats" back into the YTV line up. May it be four in the afternoon or four in the morning Id still would like to see it. Would you please write me back and let me know of your intentions regarding "Samurai Pizza Cats" and if you would consider adding that show to your line-up anytime in the foreseeable future. I think that it would fit right into the programming you offer and it already has a strong fan base which is picking up because of the Internet. Perhaps you could do something like an anime marathon weekend with "Samurai Pizza Cats", "Sailor Moon", "Dragon Ball" and "Pokemon".
Thank you for your time and Im looking forward to your response.
Sincerely,
*My Name*

Dear *My Name*,
Thank you for taking the time to write to us. It is always nice to hear from our viewers and your suggestions are important to us.
Currently, 'Samurai Pizza Cats' is not part of our schedule and our contract to air this series has expired. We are sorry if this schedule change has been disappointing for you. We hope you can understand that it is not uncommon for television stations to move programs to another day or time, introduce new shows, temporarily remove programs (depending on conditions of contract), or delete shows with expired contracts.
With this said, please be assured that your suggestions have been forwarded to our Programming Department for future consideration.
Thanks for watching and remember to keep it weird!
Sincerely,
your friends at YTV
