ON THIS PAGE I WILL PUT SOME OF MY FAVORITE RECIPES

MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE

CAKE:1-3/4 cups granulated sugar
1-3/4 cups All purpose flour
2tsp baking soda
1tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
5 squares baker's unsweetened chocolate melted
1 cup strong black coffee(luke warm)
3/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup vegetable oil

Topping: 2 cups miniature marshmellows
1cup chopped toasted pecans

Glaze: 3 squares Bakers semi sweet chocolate
3tbsp butter
2tbsp hot water
1 tsp corn syrup

heat oven to 350 degrees Ferenhieght. CAKE COMBINE ingredients for cake in a large mixing bowl. beat on high for 2 minutes. POUR into greased springform pan. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Sprinkle with marshmellows and nuts bake 5 minutes more. remove from oven and cool for 30 minutes. GLAZE: melt glaze ingredients over medium heat, 2 minutes. drizzle over warm cake. Cake can be served warm or made ahead and served at room tempature.

CHICKEN CASEROLE
CHICKEN PIECES SKIN REMOVED 2-1/2-3LBS
GARLIC POWDER---1/2TSP
SALT---1TSP
PEPPER---1/4 TSP
CONDENSED CREAM OF TOMATO SOUP-- 10 OZ.
CONDENSED CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP-- 10 OZ
BUNCH OF GREEN OINIONS AND TOPS CHOPPED
FRESH TOMATO CHOPPED


ARRANGE CHICKEN PIECES IN BOTTOM OF A LARGE CASEROLE DISH OR SMALL ROASTER. SPRINKLE WITH GARLIC POWDER,SALT AND PEPPER. COMBINE BOTH SOUPS WITH ONIONS AND TOMATO AND WHISK TOGETHER. SPOON OVER CHICKEN PIECES COVER AND BAK AT 350 FOR 2 HRS OR UNTIL TENDER

Golden Crisp Rosemary Potatoes

4 large potatoes
1/4 cup butter
1 small crushed garlic clove
1/2 tsp dried rosemary crumbled
Generous pinch of each salt and freshly ground black pepper

1. preheat oven to 450f peel the potatoes and thinly slice. pat dry with a paper towel. place in a large bowl

2. Then melt the butter in a medium size fry pan, add the garlic,rosemary,salt and pepper. saute for about 5 minutes to develop the garlic flavor.

3. pour the butter and garlic mixture over the potatoes and gently toss until all the potatoes are coated.

4. Butter a 10 inch pie plate or quiche pan. overlap the buttery potatoes in the pie plate to form 2-3 layers. drizzle with any butter remaining in the bowl. bake for 30 minutes or until tender.
