09/19/04: Back in school, perhaps for the last year of my life. How scary. Anyway, I just added a WHOLE bunch of quizzes to the quizpage. They've been sitting in my notebook (on my computer) for a long, long time by the looks of it. And because I'm nice I added the new ones to the top of the page. Enjoy!

06/13/04: Okay, this is sad. I've been gone for too long. My site is in serious need of an overhaul and I have a CS grad student for a boyfriend. I should be on top of these things. *sigh* BUT! I've done a little fiddling and my journal for the progress of my flame handmaiden costume is up and running. I was going to just make a separate site on a blogging-for-dummies website and then realized it was just easier for me to use my own space. Silly me. So I hope if I'm going to be coming here to update every now and again over the summer I will get the energy to fiddle with fonts, stylesheets, background images, and more. We shall see. We shall see.
08/08/03: Okay, folks, I've got a bit of a problem. My SWC Paper is just about at the limit for length of an html document. Therefore, I cannot add the link to the link images on that page. Must find some way to shrink the commands so that, without altering the paper, I can add stuff to that page! Yargness! Other than that, link images are up (see links page) and some other stuff has been fiddled with. Don't really remember what. Oh well. Shall keep fiddling about with stuff until I am happy. Which will be never. Ta!
08/06/03: Ooooh, it's been a while since I last updated. Sorry, folks. If there are any folks out there listening-- I mean, reading. Yeah. So now go check out the quizpage which is not quite shiny and new, but has lots of exciting new quizzes sprinkled in among the old. And I will get down to fixing those broken links. Promise.
06/30/03: My, what a night. Stayed up late, worked this morning and it's up! Read my research paper on Female Star Wars fans (of which I am so proud - the paper and the fans) here.
06/29/03: My, what a summer. No longer working, long story. But I'm still behind on getting my research paper up and on the internet. I'll do it, I promise. Just give me time. In the mean time, I've become addicted to Buffy the Vampire Slayer so I've added a collage to my wallpaper page in the spirit of my watching as much Buffy as I can (I'm in the middle of second season and sixth season at the same time. See if that doesn't screw with your brain a bit). Also added my loverly Steerpike wallpaper. Go take a look.
06/05/03: So I'm working on getting my research paper up online. I want it to be layout perfect! Just letting you all know that I got an A- in the class so I must have done well on the paper. Unfortunately I don't get it back until the fall when I get back to campus. *sigh* However, in an email my professor said good job on the paper so I'm comfortable putting it up in its current form (i.e. I'm not going to revise it). I do have to ready it for stylesheets and such so it is readable (is that a word? Should I be using legible? I thought that only referred to handwriting...) online. I go keep working now. I should be working at my job but they don't have anything for me to do yet. And I'm not a real employee yet because somebody did something to my paperwork that was nonexistent anyway so...I stop rambling and get on with it. Bye then.
05/20/03: Did you notice? I reversed the order of my updates so the newest one is on top. Pretty smart, eh? Sorry it's been so long. I was working on a webpage project for school, during the course of which I picked up a few skills I shall have to put to good use here. I'm sure I'll poke at the page bit by bit over the summer (gee...how many times have I said that before), but I shall be working, working, working so we'll see how much actually gets done. Of course, I can use my page to take time off work. They say I should take breaks every hour...that's a lot of webpage work...But I will probably want to get as far away from a computer as humanly possible during those breaks. At any rate, there will be some revamping done, we'll see how good it is later.
Also - I wrote a research paper (having done my own data gathering and everything) about Female Star Wars fans for my Mass Media and Society class. I shall wait until I get the grade back on that so I can make sure it's the best it can be before I post it. Just in case there are some sections I want to redo or something. Also have to think of a way to present it nicely. So, another thing to look forward to! Ack! to which to look forward?
04/07/03: I think I make me history when I do this: I'm updating two days in a row! The quizzes have grown to such a grouping that I think they deserve their own page - for my sanity and yours. Look under "Where Do You Want to Go?" for the Quiz Page.
