A. The Purpose
P.M. workshops for the summer of 1999, held at Trinity Basement Theatre, aim to move aspiring actors (ages 9-18) from basic technique to a more advanced acting level. Those enrolled will translate acting theory into practical skills, performing in a special Aesop vignette. Each student will learn motivational skills, including memorization techniques needed in the acting profession. They will portray such well-known Aesop characters as the Hare, Tortoise, Wolf, Lion, Mouse and others. The concluding highlight of the session is the onstage portrayal of what they have learned. Included is special choreography for this performance at the end of the session.B. The Schedule
There are four workshop sessions. Each focuses on a new Aesop vignette, ending in a dramatic presentation.E. Further Benefits
