Bangkok Tournament 1997
The Korea HEAT once again impressed the field with their gritty play in
Bangkok. Our first game was a victory over the Taipei Headhunter...who
are fast becoming our arch-rivals. This victory put us up 2-0 over the
Headhunters in two tournaments. Our second game was a victory over NIKE
Bangkok in a game slow to take off, but ending in a double digit victory
for the HEAT.
The next day saw the 2-0 HEAT go against our good buddies and in country
rivals, the MADDOGS....we just can't seem to loosen up our assholes when
we play those guys. We lost a tough struggle. Later in the day we once
again had to play the Headhunters...this time the Taipei team came out
victorious when time ran out during our struggle to come back.
All in all a good tournament....in hot hot hot weather...a 5th place
finish...
looking forward to Manila and Pangaea V....
