Although he attaches little importance to them, Sathya Sai Baba has amazing miraculus powers. He casually waves his right hand a few times in small sircles and procduces Vibhuti ( holy ash) as a blessing or for curative purposes. On occasions the hand circling produces a ring or amulet for a devotee. These miracles, which he describes as his " callingcards" , are natural to him and he uses them mainly to strengthen the faith of those who go to him and to set them on the path to descovering their own divinity.
