Objective
My immediate short term objective is to obtain an entry level position, where I will be able to gain practical accounting experience in relationship to the classroom theory. My long term objective, is to receive my professional designation in management accounting and a career in corporate finance.

Summary of Qualifications
Established and maintained a 3 month simulation set of books for a merchandise outlet. This entailed payroll, A/R, A/P, all journal entries, petty cash, cash receipts and dispersals, general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and bank reconciliations. I have prepared bank reconciliations and I have maintained a cash journal for the Federation of British and Canadian Veterans Association of Canada. I have used a petty cash fund, and prepared petty cash summary’s. I have used the WIN-TAX, QUICK-TAX programs. I can use Microsoft DOS Applications 3.0, Word 6, Excel 5 & Excel 4, extensive Excel 4 macro programing, Lotus 123, and Quicken basic. I am a quick learner, and enjoy working with intricate detail.

Ministry of Forests (12 month's co-op work term 1996 - 1997)
Prince George, British Columbia
Employed as Assistant Revenue Accountant. Performed audits on monthly sales reports from the various mill’s, as reported to Victoria. Spent a great deal of time building macro’s in Excel 4. These macro’s ranged from simple to quite detailed.
College of New Caledonia (1997 - Present)

Employed as a tutor, tutoring Accounting 151, 152 and Finance 257.
East Coast Dry-Wall (1990 - 1994)

Self-Employed: Trained all new workers, A/P, A/R, job estimates and all manual labour associated with the dry-wall industry.

Manager / Tour Guide: Presented and sold scenic tours of Niagara Falls. Designed all sales displays, trained new sales staff, dispatched tour busses, prepared nightly deposits, and promoted to manager in 1985.

Teletype and Cypher Technician: Performed preventative and repair maintenance on all teletype equipment. Obtained top-secret security clearance, and served 3 months on the Base defense squad.
