Our Caribbean cruise in late October, 2010 was fun even though we had to change two ports. We made it to St. Maarten/St. Martin but couldn't dock at St. Kitts due to high winds. Due to Hurricane Tomas slamming St. Lucia (at least 14 dead, banana crops wiped out) we diverted from there to Grand Turk and Nassau, Bahamas. I snorkled and played with stingrays on Grand Turk. We also checked out the Atlantis Resort/Casino on Paradise Island near Nassau. Tomas was supposed to hit Grand Turk several days after we were there, but we had smooth sailing all the way.
