This turned out to be an architecture trip - saw 2 state capitols (I've seen 34 and Kathy has seen almost as many now), 7 Art Deco Buildings, 4 buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and 2 of America's grandest train stations. We did see and do other things besides look at buildings: 4 National Historic Sites, a Giants-Cardinals game (Giants won 15-0!), a great art museum, the Ozarks, a cave, and a show in Branson, Missouri. We passed on the "Three Redneck Tenors" show in Branson but we did have dinner at the classy Andy Williams Moon River Grill there (get well soon Andy). When we drive though the Midwest and South, we always see many signs for Adult Superstores and Fireworks Superstores along the highways and interstates. I guess they know how to have a good time in this part of the country.
Here's 135 of over 700 photos I shot on our trip. The link is for the slide show but it can be paused. click here: Missouri & Kansas
