After listening to every BSB CD ever made, we have come to one conclusion: their songs are a bunch of crap. Not all of them, but a few fall into this category because of their unrealistic nature. If some guy said this stuff to our faces, we'd laugh for a couple of hours, then puke on his shoes.
"I don't care who you are, where you're from, what you did, as long as you love me." So they don't mind if I'm Getrude, a crack-whore from the ghetto? To quote AJ, "Sure.. sure.. whatever." They have to have some type of standards.. well Brian is dating Leigh Anne, so maybe not :oP.
Case 2: All I Have to Give
"I don't have a fancy car, to get to you I'd walk a thousand miles." What about that new Prowler you bought, Nicky? I know they recorded the song BEFORE they got all that money, but still... their feet would hurt really bad after walking that far.
Case 3: I'll Never Break Your Heart
"I'll never break your heart, I'll never make you cry." This song is the KING of crap. There's no way a guy could ever live up to that standard, unless they were perfect. The last time I checked, the BSB weren't.
Case 4: Just to be Close
"Like a flower to a tree, that's how close I wanna be." This is the gayest line we've ever heard. Really, how close is a flower to a tree? It should be a branch to a tree... or maybe a leaf to a tree. Something like that.
Case 5: Anywhere for You
"Your love as far as I can see, is all I'm ever gonna need." Hmm I guess they weren't thinking about sleep, water, or food. How stupid of me... I always thought you needed THOSE things to live.
Case 6: If I Don't Have You
"You said goodbye, girl I would die." Is it just me, or do these guys have stalker tendencies? Let me find a phonebook and see if I can locate a good therapist.
Case 7: Don't Leave Me
"Don't leave me, cuz you need me." Hmmm, if she's leaving, then I don't think she needs you, guys. Something is seriously wrong with Backstreet logic.
Case 8: My Heart Stays With You
"After every show, I wanna rush over to you." As far as we know, after every show they go take a nice hot shower and they need it too!!
Case 9: No One Else Comes Close
"...with just one touch, you can do so much..." Is that just wrong or what? And of course AJ says damn at the end, cuz the girl didn't touch him.
Case 10: Spanish Eyes
"Knowing that hate is wrong and love is right." Um, i think everyone knows that already. Good job Howard!! Also from that song, "This place I've never been and it comes from deep within and it's telling me that I am about to win first prize." So now the girl is a trophy? I didn't know it was a contest.
Case 11: Everytime I close my eyes
"Listen girl, I don't know where to start Cause every word I say is straight from the heart." Straight from the heart? As far as we know, guys are lying pieces of shit...nah, j/k, but why would someone say everything straight from the heart? That could be nice and harsh things....hmmm
Case 12: Missing You
"Can never go on without you." You live, you love, your heart gets broken, you move on. So yes, u can live without the girl.
