*N SYNC Orlando Review
By Maxine

At 6:30, I arrived at Tampa's own Ice Palace for the concert everyone was talking about: 'N SYNC! Unfortunately Lance was too sick to attend but I still had my other three babies (especially Justin!) and oh yeah JC was there too :( :).

I was stunned to find screaming before the lights even went out and I knew exactly what was causing it. The freakishly wonderful Jesse Camp from MTV had come to cheer 'N Sync on. I, on the other hand, was screaming, "Shut up! It's just Jesse!"

I waited 30 minutes for my 2 friends to come, one a sad Lance fan and the other a disgruntled JC fan. When the finally got to the seats, where I'd been waiting, the first opening act, Blaque, came out.

Blaque was ok, nothing spectacular. I'm actually thinking about getting their single "808" though. Me and my friends all agreed they sounded like TLC. They "stole" some items from 'N Sync's dressing room like Justin's shirt for example, which sent the teenies into a frenzy. They were grinding w/ their dancers when one of the Blaque girls shouted, "How many of you would like to do this w/ Justin?" As sad as I am to admit it I was screaming louder than anyone. After the backup dancers tried to seduce us, the group said their good byes and left.

Then came Tatiana Ali. I quite enjoyed her act especially because she had this one FINE dancer. She sang pretty well, she's a cutie. I kept screaming, "IT'S ASHLEY BANKS!" After a while her dancers then left, and so did she.

After a drawn out 20 minute intermission, the lights went out again and I nearly went deaf because I had the Queen of Banshees right next to me.

This alien puppet thingy came out and it was dancing until the disassembled it. Then the 'N Sync minus Lance came out and did some impressive glow stick dancing.

After that they performed "Here We Go" and JC was talking about something, much frankly I didn't care because I was looking at my Justin (ok, I knows that 75% of the Ice Palace proclaimed Justin as his but I really don't care. I'm not gonna say anything else for fear of sounding like ateeny) .

They performed a few more songs and then they performed the best part where they go through time. My favorite was the Eighties where Joey had the white suit on. I never realized how much I loved him until that very moment.

They played the "U Drive Me Crazy" video. Of course they don't have it here in the US because it's their best video. It was also our only glance at Lance during the whole concert. My favorite part of the video is when Joey is looking through the girly mag.

They then performed "You got it" in which I got to Justin's perfect arms. He lifted up his shirt but there was a wifebeater underneath. He made a cute face like he didn't know it was there. After that song, my friends kept booing everytime Justy sang.

Soon came the infamous flying stunt during 'Sailing' . I thought it was quite funny and I kinda wished JC would fall on some unsuspecting squeling fan. And I swear Justin looked and waved at me but I didn't mention it to my friends because of their annoyance of poor JuJu (nor do I plan to).

They performed one more song, "Tearin' Up My Heart", and then they left. I hauled ass out of their quite quickly. My ankle, knee, back, head, ears, and throat were all aching and I think I went deaf in my left ear (the ear toward the Queen of The Banshees) but all in all I had a good time. I would have enjoyed it more if Lance was there to screw up the dances but I had a good time.

Thanks a bunch for the review Maxine!
