History
Even as a student in a very posh Prep School like Bardsey, it's difficult for a child of mixed ethnic heritage to survive unmolested by his peers, even moreso being the gay child of mixed heritage. Somehow he pulled it off.
As an only child from a very affluent family (his sister was born in 2019), Chauncey was spoiled rotten. He also has been gifted with a very social personality and could make friends easily, especially with women (this has always pleased his parents, who refuse to believe he's really gay and it isn't just a rebellious stage of his that's dragged on for too long). Coupled with his early discovery of his powers, he's always been a relatively happy guy in search of action.
His best friend and fellow student, Marie Adaire, is the daughter of other long-time G.O.O.D. agents and it was through her that he learned of the organization. At 17, upon their graduation, they both joined up with G.O.O.D. He felt he needed the extra excitement after 13 years of snotty prep school.
Powers and Abilities
As the Dodo he can run and dig at superspeeds (JUST run and dig, he has no other actual speed powers, nor has he a connection to the speedforce), he is capable of jumping extremely long distances (though he can't fly, he can jump miles at a time--farther at a good enough run) and has just enough super strength to be able to lift mid-sized sedans and toss them about.
As an agent of G.O.O.D. he has a fair amount of combat, vehicle, weapon and technological training.
