Stormcrow was born in Gotham Memorial Hospital. She grew up in Bludhaven, but at an early age showed signs of being extremely intelligent. She graduated high school at the age of 12. Then began to take classes at Gotham University. During one of her papers for her sociology classes, she came across a reference about her uncle. The papers said that he was the notorious criminal known as the Scarecrow. Concerned that this would hurt her chances at becoming a world renowned psychologist, she began studing him and learning all she could about his work. When all was said and done she realized the only way to assure her success was to dispose of the blight upon her reputation. At least, what she saw as a blight. On her way home one night, she was trying to figure out a way to stop his criminal ways. That was when she saw it. She was one of the witnesses to the Azbat versus Bane fight. Seeing this, she hatched a plan to destroy her uncle. Using what she saw of Azbat's armor, she developed her own armor to fight crime. She began fighting crime around Bludhaven to sharpen her skills. On one or tow occassions she has ran across some of Batman's enemies, ie Mr Freeze, Killer Croc, and The Riddler. They gave her a run for her money, but in the end her tenacity and keen mind saved her from humilitaing defeats. Now with a little more experience, she feels she is ready for the big time. In recent years, she has began to allow herself to be caught on film by reporters at crime scenes for the publicity. She also, hopes this will draw her uncle out of hiding. She has in the past, applied for membership in YJ, but her methods were not to their liking. They said she was to ruthless and blood thirsty for their team. Since, she has been trying to attract the attention of other groups, hoping one of them will take her. When, this happens she will do whatever it takes to prove herself to be the best of the best. Then and only then, she will go out and stop her uncle. That way, he will know what fear really is.
The majority of her training has been self taught. She attended a School of Kung Fu in China, sponsered by her parents. Both of whom are renowned sociologist. All her gadgetry skills were self taught from her increased intelligence, engineering just seemed to come natural for her. The thieving skills she has learned come partially from her martial arts training and her own experience. She hopes to one day study under Nightwing and learn more of the tricks of the trade. As good as she may be, she knows she will have to be much better to truely be the best. And nothing is going to get in her way of achieving her dream of utterly destroying her uncle.
