History
When things didn't work out between Zauriel and
Melanie Fox, Zauriel was distraught. Fortunatly he
found comfort in a young woman, Stephanie Cho. The two
had a very good relationship, until Zauriel left to
battle the forces of Avatar and never returned.
After Zauriel had left, Steph deiscovered that she was
pregnent with his child, when their son was born, she
named him James, and loved him dearly. Steph raised
her son without religion, she had turned down god,
because he had taken Zauriel away from her. James'
heritage was nver a secret from him, though he stopped
believing his father was an angel when he was nine...
James awoke one night when he was fifteen, complaining
of a back ache, his mother didn't know how to help.
Then in a flash of light, James' Angelic wings
sprouted from his back. This alone returned
Stephanie's belief in god, and prompted James to
leave, on his on accord, to find his faith, and learn
more about himself.
James' journey's took him around the world, and
eventually he ended up in a monistary, the same one
that once housed both Oliver Queen and Conner Hawke.
He started training at martial arts there when he was
sixteen, after his first visit from Connor Hawke, the
Amber Arrow. He studied under Connor for five years,
and after hearing all of Connors stories abou the
Outsiders, the JLA, and even the JSA, James decided to
leave his home once again, to do good as a hero.
Powers and Abilities
James' wings allow him to fly, at extremely high
speeds. He also inhereted, from his father, a very
mild sonic scream, not strong enough to break through
walls, but it can disorient opponents. James also has
the benfits of years of martial arts training under
Connor Hawke. Despite Connor, he is not an archer, he
prefers his staff.
