Major Points of Divergence.

The Legion of Superheroes.

• The Legion of this universe consists of members and occurances from each version of the Legion.
  

Crisis on Infinite Earths

• Supergirl is saved from anti-monitor's killing blast by Brainiac 5 and a team of Legionnaires, resulting in the death of Superman in her stead.
  
• In addition, the Legionnaires Spark, Saturn Girl, Chemical King, Mon-El, Sunboy, Projectra, Shadow Lass, 1/3 of Triad, Cosmic Boy, and Monstress die as a result of Brainiac 5's mission.
  
• Supergirl grows to hate Brainiac 5, also vows to protect the Earth as her cousin would have.
  
• The multiverse is left intact.
  

Armageddon 2001.

• Never happened. Both Hawk and Dove are alive and remain Hawk and Dove
  

Reign of the Supermen.

• These events begin years earlier than in the official DCU. Without Superman to back them, but with Supergirl's help, the heroes barely defeat the cyborg Superman.
  
• Supergirl and Batgirl are inducted into the Justice League.
  
• Eradicator forms a group of heroes, calls them the Outsiders.
  

The Killing Joke

• Joker cripples Batgirl and kills Jason Todd.
  
• Broken by the stress, Batman kills the Joker. He is never brought to trial for the murder. He retires for a short time, replaced by Nightwing, then later returns to being the Batman.
  
• Years later, Jason Todd is mysteriously resurrected and joins Young Justice.
  
• Barbara Gordon becomes Oracle.
  

Invasion!

• For the most part, this event occurs just as it had in the comics. However:
  
• Martian Manhunter, Atom (Ray Palmer), Black Canary II, Kiliwog, Batman, Blue Beetle, Wonder Woman (Diana), Hawkman (Katar Hol), Goldstar II and various sundry Green Lanterns are abducted by the Invading force and are successfully replaced by meta-human powered Durlans.
  
• The Dominion somehow obtains cell samples from Superman.
  

Zero Hour

• Realizing the danger posed by Hal Jordan, the Guardians send the majority of the Lanterns against him, they fail and die.
  
• Hal becomes Parallax and puts the Zero Hour in motion.
  
• The Guardians pull the one GL they saved, out of hiding, Guy Gardner is made Kyle Raynor's trainer.
  
• Supergirl quits the Justice League.
  
• The Time Trapper sends Hal Jordan to the pocket universe, where the existence of the pocket universe is changed to fit Hal's whims, the DCU is left unaffected.
  

Modern Era

• Arsenal marries Black Canary
  
• An alien armada is detected at the far reaches of the galaxy, approaching Earth.
  
• Earth's majority of adult heroes go into space to confront the armada.
  
• The heroes never return, however, the armada stops in its tracks.
  
• Robin, Superboy and Impulse form Young Justice, joined by Arrowette, Wondergirl, Secret, Spoiler, CM3, Argent, Supergirl, Psi, Astra, Star Spangled Kid, Mary Marvel and Kyle's GL trainee the alien Lightning Bug.
• Cypher, Shadowcat and Magik travel here from Earth-MCG, and cannot return. They join Young Justice.
  
• During a battle with COMPUTO, Karate Kid, Chlorophyll Kid and Rebound are transported to the 20th Century, they too join Young Justice.
  
• Prysm, Mister Majestic and others join the team.
  
• Young Justice fails to stop the Kryptonian Avatar from detonating nuclear warheads in Israel.
  
• Members of Young Justice briefly visit the 80th Century, where they find the future to be bleak, and meet Brainiac 7.
  
• Batgirl 2, Jason Todd (as Batman), Bliss and Oracle join Young Justice.
  
• Members of Young Justice investigate a surge of meta-human creations in the midwest. Bladerunner, Force and Coldfront join.
  
• Members investigate a string of voodoo related deaths and disappearances in New Orleans.
  
• Members travel into space to defeat Avatar's armada. The fate of the adult heroes is discovered:
  
  
  
  • Steel, Flash, Max Mercury, Jesse Quick, Nightwing, Guy Gardner, Terra, Changeling, Jade, Geo Force, Red Tornado, Tempest and Adam are rescued.
    
  • Kyle Raynor, the other members of the new Green Lantern Corps, Batman, Wonderwoman, Jay Garrick, Starfire, Troia, Zauriel, Cyborg, Plastic Man, Barda, Orion, Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, Dr. Fate, Eradicator, Captain Marvel, Metamorpho, Azrael, and Power Girl are found dead.
    
  • Starman, Fire, Black Lightning, Martian Manhunter, Atom, Firestorm, Zatanna, Alan Scott and Obsidian had disappeared in a cannon blast.
    
  
• Members travel to the 30th century and attempt to usurp Brainiac 5.1's control of the era. They succeed, but Brainiac 5.1 dies attempting yet again to change history.
  
• Flash and others investigate the school age kids combusting and help overthrow a Durlan invasion with the aid of Valor.
  
• Kyle Raynor recovers from being dead, and claims Superman lives.
  
• Tenzil Kem, Dreamer, Phantom Girl, Triad, and Danger Girl become trapped in the 20th century with the Karate Kid, Rebound and Chlorophyll Kid
• CM3, Argent, Kid Emotion and Mister Majestic join others to try and staveoff a vampire invasion of New Orleans. Shockwave and Aquagirl II are introduced and join the Titans. Hound, Dolph, Priest and Necromancer are introduced.
  
• New team line-ups are formed, sparked by the reformation of the JLA
  
• Aquaman, Max Mercury and Mister Majestic form the new Outsiders, their goal to train the heroic children in need of more control over their powers.
  
• Romance developes between Secret and Valor, while Supergirl begins to put her life in order
  
• Young Justice responds to a distress call from Wondergirl. Thymiscrya, being accused of generating biological weapons for the Middle-East is being attacked by UN Warships. Young Justice fends them off and proves the Island Paradise's innocence.
  
• The Plight of Valor: while Young Justice celebrates their defense of Thymiscrya, Valor contracts fatal lead poisoning. Superboy, making use of Hal Jordan's power ring (stolen from Kyle Rayner by Robin) is able to resuscitate Valor. In the end, Valor's Phantom Zone Projector, a weapon he used for banishing agents of the Dark Circle, is used to transport Valor to the Phantom Zone until Valor can be saved.
  
• The Titans mysteriously disappear from Titans Tower and can not be found anywhere on the planet.
  
• The JLA attempts to handle multiple emergencies that fall on their lap at once:
  • Nightwing is elected Chairperson, with Supergirl as co-chair
    
  • Supergirl, Batgirl, Geo Force, Mary Marvel, Guy Gardner, Arsenal, Flash and Black Canary go to New Orleans, meeting Green Arrow (Connor) there, and investigate the disappearance of the people of New Orleans, and the supposed presence of vampires.
    
  • During teleportation, Tempest somehow replicates and becomes two people, exact duplicates of one another.
    
  • Steel begins work on JLA Flight Rings with technological aid from Invisible Kid.
    
  • Psi is assigned to help ease Jade from her coma, help discern the nature of Tempest 1&2, and attempt to decypher Kyle Rayner's memory of sighting a living Superman.
    
  • Kyle discovers the disappearance of Hal Jordan's GL power ring.
    
• Half of Young Justice travels to Mt. Olympus to convince Zeus to cure Valor, however the cost is either Wondergirl's power or a life
  
• Lightning Bug enters a relationship with a civilian, who while they sleep, is murdered beside her. The arriving police are murdered as well, leaving Lightning Bug framed for the entire mess. Lightning Bug also discovers herself pregnant.
  
• Ultra Boy battles his way to the 20th Century to be with Apparition.


• Starman, Fire, Black Lightning, Martian Manhunter, Atom, Firestorm, Zatanna, Alan Scott and Obsidian return from the far reaches of space with the aid of Jesse Quick, Shockwave and Dr.Fate; they bring along the comatose body of Superman, and rescued refugees Cyborg and crew of the Space Shuttle Challenger.
  
• The GL lifeforces stored in Cyborg's body are returned to their bodies
  
• The JLA confronts the vampire menace in New Orleans, and their apparent leader, a powerful vampire named Sensei. Supergirl, Arsenal, Green Arrow and Flash are all heavily wounded, but the vampires are destroyed.
  
• Upon returning to the Watchtower, Nightwing, Supergirl, Alan Scott and Martian Manhunter decide to reform the JSA and compose it of some current JLAers.
  
• Young Justice, having rescued Wondergirl from Mt. Olympus, help Robin keep an eye on Gotham, meanwhile Superboy and Wondergirl, and Bliss and Force each go out on dates.
  
  • While in Hawaii, Superboy and Wondergirl are attacked, and Wondergirl is abducted by a villain known as the Brute
    
• Golden Eagle is elected leader of the Titans upon the Titans return from a foray into Earth-MCG's future.
  
• Star Spangled Kid recovers from her coma and joins Young Justice on the rescue mission of Wonder Girl
  
• Villains abduct Lightning Bug. Astra and Danger Girl give chase.
  
• The supervillain team, "The Horde" is introduced. Led by Shadowmaster and composed of entirely unknown villains Razorwing, Gladiator, D-Mat, Thunder, Tornado, Psychedelia and The Brute. The Horde battles YJ, and maims Bladerunner. Assisted by Kid Lantern, the Ray, Lagoon Boy and Nuklon, Young Justice is victorious, but Shadowmaster, D-Mat and Gladiator escape. Lightning Bug and Wonder Girl are rescued.
  
• Kid Lantern's identity is revealed.
  
• Astra and Danger Girl arrive on the heels of the majority of YJ's departure, and encounter Bliss and Star Spangled Kid.
  
• Karate kid assaults Guy Gardner, causing the Lantern massive head trauma.
  
• The U.S. government places a warrant for Starman's arrest for the murder of the citizens of New Orleans.
  
• While the rest of the Outsiders pointlessly regroup to rescue the already rescued Lightning Bug, Tenzil Kem creates the Tick by removing the cartoon hero from a television.
  
• The Titans travel to Alaska and battle an ancient frost giant
  
• The warrants on Starman, et al. are lifted.
  
• While at STAR Labs for tests, Young Justice are attacked by Federal Agents. They escape, STAR Labs is demolished, and Twilight and Forgotten Boy join the team. This results in Young Justice being wanted for the apparent murder of three of the agents, and the members Wondergirl, Spoiler, Star Spangled Kid, Force, Arrowette and Twilight's secret identities are broadcast over national television programs. Secret disappears.
  
• Secret somehow travels into the Phantom Zone and reunites with Valor. The two also meet Mon-El before she gives Valor her flightring and returns home to find Young Justice missing.
  
• The Titans all go out for a night off to enjoy themselves, while love blooms everywhere in the team. Aquagirl and Golden Eagle are called to assist the JLA.
  
• Brainiac 5.1, still residing in Superan's body, escapes his prison cell on the Watchtower and rejoins his teammates in the Legion.
  
• The Legion, minus Karate Kid and Danger Girl, return home.
  
• The Executioner is debuted, and begins a meta-human killing spree: killing Prysm, Nuklon and revealed as the murderer in Lightning Bug's previous framing. Max Mercury, and Kid Lantern are also heavily wounded
  
• The Outsiders escape to Apokolips to avoid the Executioner, half the team later is transported to the JLA Watchtower.
  
• The First Lady is assassinated, and Wrath is introduced
  
  UN Act SR398256:
  
  • Requiring all juvenile metas and vigilantes to desist all activities, otherwise their parents will be arrested for child endangerment and neglect and they will be made wards of the state. Arrowette's mother is the first parent to be arrested.
    
  • All extra-terrestrials must evacuate Earth, under penalty of death.
    
  • All other metas and vigilantes must register their identities with the UN, acquire insurance to cover damages incurred by their activities, and automatic death sentences to all involved in any battle leading to civilian death.
    
• Young Justice, while relocating to theJSA's old HQ in Manhattan, learn of Bonnie Jones' arrest and leave to rescue the other parents before they are arrested. Star Spangled Kid leaves the team, and the others decide to use Wondergirl and her mom as bait for the Executioner.
  
  The Titans and Nightwing disappear.
  
• The JSA decides to rescue Arrowette's mother, and confront the UN.
  
  Supergirl is forced to delegate the entire JLA to dealing with the First Lady's assassination, the presence of Lilith, the search for the missing Young Justice, the collection of every meta on Earth to the Watchtower for safety and the rescue of the Outsiders on Apokolips when the Titans and Nightwing all disappear (minus Golden Eagle and Aquagirl), and the JSA leaves to rescue Bonnie Jones.
  
  • The Green Lanterns Guy, Kyle, Lightning Bug, and Later joined by Secret and Roxy, set to the task of locating and retrieving the metas to the Watchtower.
    
  • Aquaman takes Flash, Steel, Karate Kid, Geo Force and Connor Hawke with him to Apokolips to rescue the Outsiders.
    
  • Wrath and Fire go to DC to track Lilith, on the way they fall for each other and she leaves Guy
    
  • Martian Manhunter takes Psi, Aquagirl and Golden Eagle to DC to track the First Lady's assassin.
    
• The Outsiders defeat Kalibak on Apokolips and then return to the Justice Cave as their rescuers arrive, just missing each other, and Darkseid.

  Final Night
  
  • On the eve she arrives to give Earth warning of the Suneater's approach, she is assassinated by the Executioner II, as is the Green Lantern known as Lightning Bug.
    
  • In a race against time, and each other, the heroes of the world scurry to find a means of defeating the creature.
    
  • Powers amplified by Danger Girl's Omega Beams, Twilight destroys the Suneater before it can attach to Sol, immediately boosting the credibility of Doom Patrol in the world's eyes and leading towards its establishment by the United Nations as the meta-human police force of the world.
    
  Avatar Returns
  
  • So does Superman.
    
  • Another cosmos-scale war ensues. Avatar is destroyed, though so are Superman, Dove, and many others.
    
  • Superwoman gives birth to the child she carries from Karate Kid, a boy they name Brce Kal-El Kent Armorr.
    
  Bad Friday
  
  • Outraged at the total lack of action by the other heroes against Doom Patrol, who've since become a group primarily composed of fascists and psychopaths, Anarky forms a squad of anti-heroes and villains to take Doom Patrol down.
    
  • Likewise, Doom Patrol is acting to take down Anarky, and to take down a group of mostly minor-powered meta-humans calling themselves Strikeforce Seven.
    
  • Likewise, Doom Patrol member Executioner I hatches a plan to kill all of his team mates, utilizing stolen fear gas from teammate Stormcrow to cause Peacemaker and Deadshot to become further unstable.
    
  • A massive face-off ensues in the SoHo district of NYC.
    
  • Deadshot, Hawk, Executioner I, Hitman and Miscreant are all slain. Ray joins with Anarky's team, the Watchmen, and flees the scene before more tragedy can ensue.
    
  • Left to their own devices, Doom Patrol continues their mission to "apprehend" Strikeforce Seven and encounter its most dangerous member--Carnage the Living Reactor.
    
  • Peacemaker causes Carnage to explode, triggering the event known now in infamy as Bad Friday. New York City, and surrounding boroughs, cities, and so forth, is destroyed as it is made ground zero of a massive nuclear catastrophe.
    
  • The Governments of the world, and especially the US, will come to lay blame equally against the now-dead Doom Patrol, and the Watchmen.
    
  the era yet to be named
  
  • Young Justice discovers the existence of the heroes abducted during Invasion!, five years after the fact, and embarks on a mission to the Dominion homeworld of Elia to rescue them
    
  • On Elia, they rescue Kiliwog, Goldstar II, Atom, Black Canary II, Hawkman and Batman.
    
  • They also discover, and rescue, a young boy with Kryptonian-level powers, calling himself Clark Kent. While Batman insists they destroy him, they take him in instead.
    
  • Wonder Woman, the assorted Green Lanterns and an unidentified dark-haired male are also recovered, though they had died in captivity.
    
  • Blue Beetle is never recovered, and they cease searching for him on Batman's oath that Beetle is dead, incinerated before his very eyes during an escape action.
    
  • They all return to Earth.
