History
In mid-2000, one of Catwoman and Wildcat's then infrequent trysts left Selina with child. Selina kept her pregnancy a secret, and kept young Ted's existence a secret for the first years of his life. In the next four years after his birth, further liaisons netted him two half-sisters, all with different fathers. The oldest of these half-sisters he barely knows, as his mother gave her to the child's father, Trickster, to raise. When he was six, his youngest sister, Thea, was born. By this time, both he and Kathryn had been expressing interests in mom's business, and mom was encouraging of their interests, even as toddlers beginning Aikido training, letting them review her heists, etc.
Ted's powers began to manifest at age 9, and Selina had Wildcat pull strings for her to get him into the Theadore Knight Academy so he could learn control. Two years later, a month after his eleventh birthday, he is present at two major weddings in his family, set a mere day apart: the first, between his mother and his father; the next day he was present at the wedding of his mother and Thea's father (in 2009, polygamy is made legal again, after the Church of Latter-Day Saints becomes the predominant western religion and dominates the political infrastructure of the U.S.)
From age 14 to 18, Ted was a part of the Academy's team of practicing metas-- Young Justice. His freshman year on the team (and in school) he fell hard for Aleea Strange, three years his senior, and set his sights on wooing her. It was five years of non-committal dates before she finally agreed to let them both become an actual monogomous couple--a week after his graduation from the Academy.
When Superman restructured the JLA about a year ago, it was Aleea's recommendation that brought Ted onto the team, the two have been fighting crime together, and making occasional visits to Rann, ever since.
Powers and Abilities
Ted is a highly skilled physical combatant, trained from scant years after he could walk in Aikido, and other fighting styles as he grew by his mother, boxing by his father, as well as all the training he could handle at the Theodore Knight Academy. Additionally, he is a skilled thief and capable of using most melee weapons and firearms.
Additionally, Ted bears the meta-gene and has the power to manipulate time in very small increments. He's capable of jaunts forward or backward in time by thirteen seconds, and can freeze time relative to himself in thirteen second increments as well.
