Magickal Correspondences
Correspondences are used in ritual to create a focus on the intended purpose of the spell. Specific colors are used for their attributes (colored candles, for example), as well as herbs or gems. Every type of stone or herb has it's own specific energy, and it is up to us to chose the energies that we use in our rituals to ensure that they all work in harmony with one another. You can't have correspsondences that conflict with one another (well, you can, but chances are it wouldn't work as well as it would if you had all the right ones)
