....."You are a Witch and Alasha is your concubine, your Vampire Slayer. They have killed you know, they have killed quite a few people,' said Charles with a snicker.
....."Charles, you have to be wrong. Alasha would never kill anyone,' replied Camilla pleadingly to her husband.
....."Charles, your charges I need proof," said Edward not knowing what to believe, as thinks seemed out of control even to him.
....."Very well father, I shall provide the proof you need. Gordon is Alasha the Slayer? I can prove that she is if you choose to lie," said Charles.
....."Well, yes, but it is not like he says," replied Gordon.
....."Father, I am a Vampire Slayer, I kill vampires it has nothing to do with witchcraft and I am certainly not under anyone's spell. I'm one of the good guys," stated Alasha hoping to find a way to regain some order to the conversation.
....."Its true,' said Silvae. "She saved me from two vampires just a moment ago in the courtyard. She protects the innocent and if anything you should be honoring her not this farce that Charles has orchestrated."
....."Shut your hole wench! Father these people are evil and I see no other option than to burn them, lets do it now," said a pleading Charles.
....."Charles Beckett, what has gotten into you," asked Camilla?
....."Well Father shall we destroy them, are you man enough to keep our family honor intact? If you won't do anything, perhaps you should turn over your title to me and I will do something!"
....."You have the nerve to question my manhood and my position on honor and protocol! Your mother is right, something has gotten into you and I question everything you have said here. You have muddled the waters so much that I do not have a clue what the truth is anymore."
....."Fine, I will go and get some oil to burn these people myself," said Charles as he turned and started to walk towards the entranceway. Edward leapt to his feet and rushed after his son and then grabbed him by the shoulder and spun him around to face him face to face.
.....Charles growled a very deep growl from deep within his chest as his demonic features flared across his face and his eyes glowed in a color of intense yellow. He parted his mouth to reveal his two very pointy and very sharp fangs before speaking, "Okay, I'm a vampire and Alasha is good, either way she is dead." Charles then grabbed his father and threw him backward through the air where he handed heavily on his chair almost losing consciousness.
.....Alasha stood transfixed for a moment as Charles stormed out of the hall. Her brother was a vampire, she didn't want to believe it. She noticed that Gordon, Silvae, Camille and even her father seemed to be in shock.
....."This can't be good," said Silvae as she felt awful knowing that Alasha was going to have to slay her brother.

Gordon's House
.....Europa noticed that no one seemed to be home which was fine as she was certain that Gordon wouldn't simply just let her use his books without inquiring too much into what she was up to. She had feelings for him, but she had to keep the fact that he was a Watcher in focus and that they were on different sides of the fence. Sure they had an alliance going but even still Europa had a few goals that would break the alliance and force her to destroy Alasha. She liked the new Slayer and didn't want to do that, but she would if she were left without any choice.
.....She found the book she was looking for without too much effort, as she was certain that Gordon had been doing some reading on the Bloodstones. She quickly browsed through the pages looking for an answer to where the third Bloodstone was located. She was certain that it was fairly close by and certainly hoped so as she didn't want to take any real long trips as they were such a hassle due to the restrictions against daylight and the need to feed.
.....She found a paragraph talking about the Welsh and how they had encountered one of the Bloodstones. It made sense to her that one of the Bloodstones would be in Wales and she had to smile, as she was about to go on a trip after all. Wales was not as far away as their journey to Scotland so it would be a get in quick and get out with another Bloodcharm on her necklace. There would be an Elemental that she would have to let loose, but that was not her concern. Perhaps Alasha would be called in after the fact to clean up her mess.

....."This is simply too crazy to believe Alasha. However, I saw Charles with my own eyes and I guess that doesn't leave me with any other option," said Edward after Alasha and Gordon had taken the time to explain to him the truth about her calling and the incidents that had transpired involving vampires.
....."Father I know it is hard to believe, but I am the Slayer and I have to go after Charles. He is a vampire now and he will kill us if I don't slay him first," said Alasha with pain in her voice.
....."You can't kill Charles, there has to be another way," said Camille with the sound of tears on her voice.
....."Camille, the Charles you see now is not your son, he is a soulless demon. Your son, he is already dead," said Gordon.
....."Alasha you will stop him," said Edward. "I guess the charges against you were false Gordon and as such you are free to help her stop Charles. Silvae the charges against you are not dropped, you did lie to us and for that you will still be punished and you will never work in this house again. However, we can work out the details after Charles is dealt with."
....."Okay, I will take care of him before he kills any more of the servants," replied Alasha as she rushed out in the same direction that Charles had gone.
....."Be careful honey,' said Camilla as her daughter departed.
.....Alasha moved through the corridors quickly looking for any trace she could find of her brother. She wasn't looking forward to killing him, but she didn't have any option. She also realized that she would have to kill the vampire that had sired him. She stopped in her tracks as she realized that there had been no time for a vampire to sire him. She had seen him in the light and he was fine and then he simply showed up as a vampire not that long after sunset. The wish, she had wished that he could understand the evil that she faced. Anya had used magic to turn him into a vampire, this was the result of her wish.
....."Congratulations, you figured it out," said Anya as she appeared in human form in front of Alasha. "You wanted him to understand, and well he certainly does now."
....."I never wanted this, you have to undo it Anya. You have to put things back as they were,' said Alasha with authority behind her voice.
....."I have wielded the power of 'The Wish' for over six hundred years and I can assure you that it shall run its course. There is no turning back Alasha and please if you must blame someone, blame yourself as it was your wish."
....."I could kill you, that might undo it," said Alasha plainly while steeling her glare at the demon.
....."You are a slayer and I respect that, I really do as I represent women scorned and a strong woman is something that I truly do respect. You could have beat some sense into Charles, but instead you only let your hate fester and I am the result of that. However, I am feeling generous, I will help you. However, there is a cost."
....."Isn't there always with demons," replied Alasha? "What do you want?"
....."That necklace, I do like it," she said pointing to the necklace she had put on Alasha earlier. "If you give it to me, I will help you."
....."You have a deal," said Alasha as she removed the necklace and handed it back to Anya. "Here you go, now for your part of the deal," said Alasha not noticing the smirk on Anya's face.
....."Of course, you wanted help and Help you I shall. Charles is behind you, now don't say I didn't help you,' she said as she vanished. Alasha didn't have time to register Anya's betrayal as she turned just in time to counter Charles' attack.
....."Well dear sister, I hope you have made peace with your God as I am going to kill you. I thought about bringing you across but, you are too much of a nag and if I had to listen to that for all eternity, I would probably end up staking myself."
....."Aren't we the witty one," said Alasha as she punched him in the face. "Did you take lessons from the court jester? Oh I forgot, you need to at least be as smart as a stone to learn from them," she said as she blocked one of his punches.
....."We will see who is laughing in a minute once I spread your entrails all over the ground," he angrily replied.
....."I'll bet you use that line on all the girls," she said as she kicked him in the head. "Though using it on your sister takes it to a new level of gross," she added, as she sidestepped his charge. As he passed her, she spun and kicked him in the small of his back sending him crashing into a beam.
....."Well, I would love to keep this up forever bro, but I have better things to do," she said as she raised her stake. "You know, like write an eulogy for your funeral and it may take me a long time to think up something nice to say about you," she said as he turned to make a final lunge at her. She thrust the stake forward and easily hit her mark. There was for an instant a look of relief on Charles' face just before he exploded into a cloud of dust.
....."Your welcome," replied Alasha as she turned and walked back towards the hall. She didn't look forward to telling her father about the fact that Charles was dead.
....."Well, what happened," asked Edward as Alasha walked back into the hall?
....."He is dead, I slew him,' she replied trying to keep her tone respectful. "I'm sorry about this as I feel like it is my fault," she added not telling them Anya's role and how she had wished this one Charles.
....."Yes, it is your fault Alasha and I will never forgive you for putting this family in danger," said Edward. "I need time to think about this all and to process it. I do not know what to say about this job of yours Alasha and right now all I know is that I want you married and out of this family as quickly as possible so that it will no longer be my problem. As for you, Silvae, leave this place, never return as you are not welcome here."
....."What about the slaying," asked Alasha?
....."I don't care right now what you do Alasha. Only that you will marry the first man I can find for you and then I will Wash my hands of it," he said as he walked away from them.

Gordon's House
.....Alasha blew on the ink so it would dry faster as she handed the drawing of the necklace to Gordon. She had told him all about Anya and 'The Wish' and he had taken careful notes for his diary as well as a report he had to submit to the council. He assumed that the incident with Anya would make it into one of their reference books for use by a future Watcher if ever Anya crossed the path of another slayer.
....."I never wanted to kill Charles," said Alasha as she felt the pull of the depression that accompanied her guilt. "Even though I stopped the vampires, I feel like we lost this time, there wasn't anyway to win."
....."Alasha, even the slayer doesn't win every battle and if she loses and still walks away from it, she wins in a sense as she gains knowledge. A defeat can teach you more than a victory. Besides, the next time Anya shows her face, she won't win as we know her now and so do all the future Watchers as well as Slayers.
